I'M SO FREAKING SORRY I THOUGHT I PUBLISHED THIS BUT APPARENTLY IT DIDN'T GO THROUGH THE AUTHOR NOTE WILL EXPLAIN

If you were to tell Dan that one day he would be standing on stage with a man holding on to his waist from behind while a crowd whistled. He would have laughed. Especially if you told him that man was Phil Lester who was trying to convince Dan the affair he had with a woman meant nothing.

It wasn't exactly how it sounded, yet is was exactly how it sounded.

They were in drama club, something Dan despised and only joined because of Phil, and in drama club you do a lot of acting games. This specific acting game was acting like a couple where one of them had made a mistake. In this case, Phil had made the mistake of having an affair with a woman. The point of the game, which was more of an acting exercise, was to make a believable apology to the other. You had to improvise a scene, in front of everyone. It was embarrassing for Dan, especially since he hated pretty much everyone in the crowd and now they were watching as Phil tried to win him over. Also, they were the only same sex pair who was doing it.

"I love you baby, I'd never want to hurt you on purpose and you know that." Dan looks away and pulls Phil arms off him, slowing his breath out of his view. "Don't shut me out I'm trying to keep us together love." He snakes his arms around Dan's waist from behind again and starts to sway his hips softly from side to side, getting some hoots from the teens in the seats which only made Dan's stomach feel worse.

"But it's hard to let you in when you've been with that awful woman! The answer is no! No no no!" Dan yells, he's not the best actor but he's trying. Even if it's a sad attempt, it's still trying. He would have been fine with anyone else, and not in front of a crowd. However, with Phil's body so uncomfortably close to his and people cheering for him, that was terrible. Absolutely terrible. Not to mention, he could feel Phil's ribs against his back.

"Do you remember what I said on the night we married?" Phil asks, changing the topic. Dan doesn't answer, not knowing how to keep the plot of this improvised scene going. As said before, he's not good at this, plus Phil forced him into this so he hadn't had much time to think it over.  "I told you I'd always be loving and loyal to you, remember?" Dan nods hesitantly. "I will always stay true to that promise. I wasn't sober when I met her, it meant nothing. Now you," he spins Dan around so they are facing each other, "you mean everything to me love." Their foreheads touch and Dan calms his breathing.

"How can I believe you?"

"Kiss me." Phil whisper, his lips close to Dan's. The brunette could feel Phil's breath on his lips and he just felt inviting.

"Okay boys!" The drama teacher, Mrs. Condarve, cuts in and they pull apart from each other. Dan's face is completely red from being so close to Phil, he uses his hand to try and hide it. "I have to stop you there before you go against school rules." Phil pouts at her words, he obviously wouldn't have cared if he kissed Dan, Dan wouldn't have though. That would be the single most embracing thing to happen to him in his life. Especially if his heart started to beep and he had to reboot. That would be terrible.

"Now, next game!" The rest of drama goes on with Phil doing everything he can to win Dan over, which fails, and Dan getting jealous and trying to get Phil close to him instead of any other teens being close to him, which ended up with more flirting from Phil. However, Dan wouldn't admit it but he was enjoying all the little flirts Phil was throwing his way. It made him feel appreciated.

Although, drama club ended, faster than Dan would've liked, and the next thing they knew they were walking out of the school building, Phil's arms around Dan's waist as he typed away on his phone. The air was cold, since autumn was slowly coming upon them, and Dan was enjoying Phil's body warmth.
