"Pssst," Miri tried to get my attention.

"Yes, Miri?" I answered.

"Are you absolutely positive your braces are coming off today?" She asked cautiously.

"Yes, my orthodontist promised," I replied.

"Well good, because I don't want you to be disappointed. Remember what happened the last time? He said you could get them off and then when the day came he said, a few more months is needed," Miri explained.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I'm just so ready to get rid of this mouth of metal," I replied frustratingly.

He walked cautiously, constantly keep his eyes on where Mr Downey lied. He walked and walked... WHEN MR DOWNEY SUDDENLY JUMPED UP AND FLUNG HIS BODY ONTO HIS DESK! The whole class jumped from the shock.

He stood the squatting over his tethering desk while his face looked grey and eyes wild.

"Are you okay, Mr Downey?" Max asked as he stood shaking.

Mr Downey turned his attention to Max and leaned towards his face.

HE GRABBED MAX!

And put his hand onto Max's neck, and thats when we noticed how long and sharp his fingernails had gotten.
As he held Max and Max panted and desperately yelled for help, Mr Downey dragged his finger nails across the skin on Max's neck.

Max panted in his arms, he panted and panted until his eyes and skin become like Mr Downeys, and he got up furiously and kind of roared at us all, and thats when we really began to panic...
