Why do you even try?

I busted into the room and shot the guards. The alarm started going off and the lights began blinking and off. Is this their new form if defense? Strobe lights? This is gonna be even more fun. I walked down the hall and shot every person that came my way.

"PUDDIN IM HERE!!!!!"

I followed the sound of her voice and found her in a cage hanging from the ceiling. Huh? Why didn't I try that? That looks like the greatest stripper cage.

"Mistah J, stop thinking of stripper cages and get me out of here." Harley stared down at me.

Of course she knew I was thinking of that. I looked around and found a lever. Pulling it, the cage lowered.

"Where's Amelda?" I looked around for a smaller stripper cage. I think these strobe lights are messing with my head.

"Hes holding her in a different room."

A sudden clapping sound echoed through the room. I snapped up my gun. Jeremy - the leader of this little gang - was walking towards us. I narrowed my eyes and pulled the trigger, not letting go. Always use machine guns. They kill faster. Jeremy went down quickly. I grabbed Harley's hand and dragged her through this building. She directed me through the building until we got to a room with a sound proof door. There was a combination lock. I shot the lock and the door opened. Harley rushed in and grabbed Amelda. I walked away without them.

"Puddin, where ya going?"

I turned around. "I don't belong here. You forgot about me once Amelda was born."

"No, I didn't."

I took a step forward and grabbed Harley's chin. "Baby, I gave you what you want. Cherish it. I'll be around when you need me. See you, Pumpkin."

I walked away. It was back to my apartment.

"PUDDIN GET BACK HERE!!!!"

I turned around. Harley was running after me with Amelda cradled against her. I sighed.

"What is it, Harls?"

"Don't leave me. I missed you for three months wondering where you went. Please don't leave me."

I looked at Amelda who looked at me with beautiful eyes that she got from Harley. She reached for me, wanting me to hold her. I put my gun on the ground and took Amelda. It was the first time I have touched her since her birth. She was so small. I lifted her up and kissed her forehead. Harley was smiling at me. This is what she wanted. For me to bond with Amelda. How could I say no? This is my child. I gave Amelda back to Harley and picked up my gun.

"Come on. It's back to the hideout for us." I wrapped an arm around Harley's shoulders and walked with her back to the hideout. She and I was going to have a new life.
