I sat at my desk watching Harley play with Amelda on the couch. She hasn't moved from Amelda's side since birth. I have completely been forgotten. Sighing, I stood up and left the office. I grabbed a gun and headed into the city. People realized then that Joker was back and ran for their lives. I shot at everyone in sight. Blood spilled onto the streets and screams echoed in the wind. It had no effect on me. Nothing had an effect on me. I walked into a candy store and shot the clerk. Grabbing a chocolate bar, I sat against the wall and ate it in the quiet. I wasn't going back to the hideout. No one could make me. I finished my candy and looked up at the ceiling. Shooting at it, I found no pleasure. I sighed. There wasn't pleasure in anything anymore. I stood up and left the candy store. In the streets people lay dead. Batman stood in the shadows watching me. I shook my head and walked away. Not today. Not any day. It's just not the same anymore. Not since the baby....
