Hey people!
I hope you liked the first poem. I found this one while organizing my papers. It's the first one that I've ever written ( a few years ago infant ). I think it needs a bit of editing, but I'd like to here your views!
Please comment and a reminder: I appreciate constructive criticism.
Enjoy!

Look upon yourself

Look upon yourself ,
When you regret,
At the times,
When you forget,
That life is not a cradle,
Which rocks with happiness,
But a truth,
Of grim sadness.

But then again,
Nothing lasts forever,
Happiness can never stay as a guest,
In ones house till doomsday,
And surely, sadness can never keep,
Knocking on your door interminably.

So the best way is this:
Face the challenges of life,
Be bold and never shy,
For embarrassment is the reason one cries,
Laughter has to end,
No matter how long you laugh.
Sorrow must be forgotten,
As happiness comes at last.

Thus look upon yourself,
When you regret,
At the times,
When you forget,
That life is not a cradle,
Which only rocks with happiness,
But a bitter - sweet truth,
Of memories and madness.

Always remember,
No matter what,
That life is a year,
Where one season has to end,
To give space to another,
And let it begin.
