Come again? I thought while staring at this mystery man. I quickly looked over to Noah, who was looking back at me. I then looked to my left to see a very confused looking Cameron standing next to the staircase. He must've heard what the man said because he kept looking between us.

Glancing back over at the man, I walked the rest of the way down the stairs and stood next to Cameron. Noah, who was still standing in front of Wes, put his hands on his hips before saying, "And you know this because...?"

"Look, can I come in and explain myself?" The man looked up at Wes, who was staring at the ground. Noah seemed to be battling with himself as he kept staring at the man before a very loud voice suddenly said,

"Hello sunshine!"

"Shit," Noah said while running his hands over his face. "Not now."

Before I could ask what was going on, I looked up to see a woman in a bright sparkly red jumpsuit. She had a cowboy hat on and tie dye shoes.... Who is this?

"Mom, this isn't really the best time," Noah said while watching the woman scoot past the mystery man before shimmying herself through the front door.

"Oh no, are you guys having a sleepover?"

Noah angrily sighed before running his hands over his face again. "For the love of god Mom, I'm forty three years old. I don't have sleepovers anymore."

The woman smiled before leaning over to kiss Noah on the cheek. "Oh honey I've missed you." She said before turning around and yelling, "Hank! Get in here!"

"You guys weren't supposed to be here until later."

"Don't rush me!" A deep voice said from outside.

When Hank came in the house he looked a little more... normal. He had dark jeans on with and a tee shirt that had many pictures of cats on it. So these must be the grandparents.

"Cameron, take your grandparents into the kitchen please. Cleo, stay here," Noah said.

"Hi Mama P, hi Papa."

"Oh Cameron, you're adorable as ever. Noah, don't be so rude. Are you not going to let me talk to my granddaughter?" Phoebe asked while giving me a big smile.

Before he could respond, Cameron started pulling his grandparents by the hands before walking into the kitchen. "How was your trip? Did you guys get lost at all?"

When they were finally in the kitchen, I turned back towards the man by the door. He was standing with his hands in his pockets, Wes still basically hiding behind Noah.

"Start from the top," Noah said as the man gestured into the house and asked,

"Am I allowed to come in?"

"That's why you have two legs isn't it?"

The man sighed before he gave a small nod. "I know what I did to you in high school was wrong Wes, and I'm sorry."

"Did I ask to bring up painful memories of the past Justin? No. Tell me why you think you're my daughter's biological father," Noah angrily said.

Justin sighed before briefly glancing at Wes before looking over at me. "I met Riley while I was in college. She was hooking up with Mack Grayson, who I think is your son's father?" He was met with silence before he started talking again. "Anyway I knew her when she got pregnant the first time. We stopped talking for awhile after she gave birth and gave the baby up for adoption. We reconnected and I still had feelings for her. Eventually we finally got together. Look she never told me she got pregnant, I never knew about you Cleo. But I still visit her; she is in jail for going a little crazy over Cameron."

"A little crazy?" Noah suddenly yelled. "She tried to hurt him, MY SON! She-"

Wes suddenly wrapped his arms around Noah, who seemed to instantly calm down. He took a few deeps breaths before looking up at Wes's face, his eyes briefly closing when Wes placed a kiss onto his head. When Noah reopened his eyes he looked back over at Justin, who was silently watching them.

"The last time I went to visit her she told me about Cleo. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you," He said while looking straight at me. "I'd really like to make it up to you; I've changed a lot since I was in high school. I'd really like to know the daughter I never knew I had."

I remained silent as Justin continued to stare at me. When I didn't respond he held out a piece of paper and said, "If you ever decide you want to talk, here's my number."

Glancing over at Wes and Noah, I hesitated before walking forward. I quickly grabbed the piece of paper before shoving it into my pocket. With that he gave me a small smile before walking away and getting into a car. Turning around, I quickly looked over at Wes, who was staring at Justin's car driving away. Noah broke the silence by sighing before clapping his hands. "Ready to meet the grandparents?" He asked with a forced smile.

When he turned and started walking towards the kitchen, I glanced back over to Wes. He was still staring outside before he slowly shut the door and looked down at me. He smiled, however it didn't quite reach his eyes. "Come on," he quietly said while nodding towards the kitchen. "Let's go meet thing one and thing two."

I followed him into the kitchen, the note in my pocket suddenly feeling so heavy. When we walked into the kitchen, I saw Cameron standing in between his grandparents, who kept kissing his cheeks. When he saw me he instantly pulled away and sighed in relief.

"Mom, Dad," Noah happily said while turning towards me with a smile. "I'd like you guys to meet our daughter Cleo."

I was standing next to Wes, not knowing how to feel. Phoebe instantly walked over to me and instantly gave me a giant hug. "It's so good to finally meet you honey! It's so exciting to have a granddaughter, this is so fun! Cameron never liked it when I used to try makeup on him."

"I wonder why I wouldn't like that."

"Oh hush," Phoebe said. "You know some boys wear makeup, and they look damn good too."

I heard Cameron continue to grumble, making me smile. It was comforting to have Phoebe hugging me for some reason. Her perfume was also comforting. If this is what having grandparents is like, I think I'd be okay with it.

Phoebe then pulled back to smile at me before she said, "I'm so happy you're in this family Cleo, I'll always love you."

Hank then came over and gave me a hug before he said, "Grandparents are fun because we give you money and make you food." I laughed when he pulled back, a big goofy grin on his face. "We'll always love you honey."

It felt so weird to be in a room full of people who all loved me. Why do so many people love me, especially people I've never met? It was crazy to think that not so long ago I had absolutely nothing, and now there were so many people who actually wanted to be in my life. And now there was the biological father who decided to come back into the picture.

Looking up, I watched as Phoebe and Hank were suddenly hugging Wes, who was trying to escape. It was actually a pretty funny scene, to see a grown man getting kisses on his cheeks.

"It was nice meeting you, I'm just going to go lay down for a little bit," I said while giving Phoebe and Hank a small smile.

"Are you alright honey?" Noah asked while a concerned look was suddenly on his face.

"Yeah, I just want to be alone right now."

With that I walked out of the kitchen and back up the stairs. Falling down onto my bed, I sighed as I stared up at the ceiling. Taking the phone number out of my pocket, I stared at it for a long time before grabbing my cell phone and calling it.
