"Cara sweetie wake up"I hear my mom says. At first I don't want to. But then I realize I'm going to be left behind in a city I don't know. I look at the window and see that we're not in the air anymore but actually landed.
"O-ka-y-y Mo-o-m. I-im c-c-om--i-ng." We walk out of the plane with our small carry suitcases and of course I have to have my book in hand. City of bones is just to precious to be tucked away.
We've walked to the place where we get our luggage and it was so frustrating. It was 2:00am right now and we have been waiting a complete hour and still no luggage.
"M-om h-how-" I was cut off short when I saw two baby blue color suitcases going down the ramp.
"Thank goodness. Oh my god. So much time." Me and my mom went running to get our luggage and just like that we were outside. For the first time since we landed, I've realized that I'm actually in New York. New York. Oh my god. There's so much things I want to do like go to Times Square or go to Lincoln center.
The yellow taxi my mom hailed came up fast with its tires screeching on the floor.
"Take us to this location please."My mom said as she handed the taxi driver a piece of paper. Looking out of the car window was so amazing. I could see the full night sky and other plane leaving, going somewhere they've never been before, like me.
"Your okay sweetie?" My mom asked. I took my eyes off the window and look at the eyes of my moms. I could see how much she wanted me to be okay. So I just nodded instead of telling her how I felt

"W-whe-re a-are we?" I say as I stand in front of a big blue house. It was 5:00am
right now and I could see the sun rising. I thought we were in New York buy it now looks like we're in a forest. Well it wasn't a real forest it just looks like it.
"In our new house Cara. Isn't it pretty?" My mom says while looking at the house.
This was nothing like the pictures Google showed. It showed apartments and big building and totally cool but this is the complete opposite of it.
"Y-yeah. I-it t-tot-taly is." I said as I walked into the house. Or home. Home. It sounds so weird. We go in to see a dusty and space house. I see that their are stairs going to the second floor so I decide to go up and choose a room.
The stairs are creaking when I step on them. It's dusty here too. I check every room but only one room stands out to me. When I go inside, it's walls are a beautiful shade of blue. It's like the perfect color. Their is a big window in which I could see trees but I could see another room to. It's a messy room is seems. As I want to see more my calls me down. And I go downstairs, I see how this house may need some fixing but also a dog.
