Title
The Skeleton in Their Closet
Genre
Short Story, Mystery/Suspense
Synopsis (What the author wrote)
A short story written for my English Honors class about a 17-year-old girl who solved crimes but somehow ended up in Mrs. Hakenen's class (my English teacher who happens to have a real skeleton in her room just for this assignment) on a rack.
What I Feel
In the mood for short stories and this one was interesting. I mean, written by an English Honours student, the language must be up to par. I have this thing for good writing and this one is good; according to me anyway. Suspense is there and I kept wanting to know what was going on next.
The first page was cramped, lacking the spacing and paragraphs. The dialogues of different people were in a large paragraph. Took me some time to decipher but I wanted to find out what it was all about since the story is just a few pages. As I read on, it got more interesting. To think that a story can be spun from just one skeleton.

Honourable Mentions
AcakThe stories that I found are worth mentioning, just because some of them are not in the What's Hot list doesn't mean that they aren't good enough. I recommend base on my tastes, hopefully, from a wide genre. Dedications are to the original authors...
