Delaney sat across from Lip, her arms folded across her chest looking anywhere but the boy's eyes.

"So about what happened, look I-" Delaney started.

"Nothing happened, we were drunk, and we kissed. That's all. I kiss a lot of girls. Doesn't mean shit." Lip interjected.

Delaney sent the boy a sarcastic smile. "So if it was nothing then why the fuck have you been ignoring me for no reason? Look I don't give a shit about what happened, but obviously, you do so stop acting like a little bitch and man up already." She jibed back.

Lip sighed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ignore you, I've just been busy with stuff. But what happened, meant nothing, I really like Karen and I'm trying not to fuck things up."

Delaney let out a breathy laugh before rolling her eyes. "Obviously."

Lip shot the younger girl a pleading look, begging her to forgive and forget.

She let out and long, heavy sigh.

"Fine. I forgive you or whatever. But you pull some shit like that and ignore me again and I swear to god I will get all of your siblings to help me fight you."

"I swear I won't. Besides Fiona has been nagging me wondering what I did to piss you off." Lip groaned.

A comfortable silence fell between the two teens before Delaney decided to speak up.

"So you uh- you really like Karen?" She said slowly, playing with her fingers.

"Yeah, I mean I think so. I don't really understand the whole feelings thing yet. When I'm with her though my heart beats really fast, and when she's sad it makes my heart hurt." Lip explained. Delaney noticed the small smile on the boy's face and couldn't help but feel a slight pang of jealousy. She wished she could make him smile like that.

"Delaney!" Debbie called, rushing down the stairs, Carl following behind her. The red-headed girl came to a short stop in front of the couch, causing Carl to bump into her.

"What's up Debs?" The girl asked sitting up to look at the redhead girl.

"Will you please tell Carl to stop melting my dolls together! Now my Malibu Barbie might as well be called Too Long Tanning Barbie!" Debbie huffed holding out the now crispy doll.

Lip shook his head and laughed, standing up and making his way towards the kitchen, most likely to grab a drink.

"Carl you can't melt Debbie's dolls anymore okay? Debbie, I might have an old doll or two, you can have them if you'd like." The older girl smiled as Debbie's eyes filled with hope and her smile grew.

"Yes please Laney!" The girl giggled before running off, most likely to throw away her burnt barbie.

Carl rolled his eyes and huffed in annoyance. Delaney smiled at the young boy.

"Carl, how about a deal, if you stop melting Debbie's stuff, you and I can make my old stuffed animals explode." The girl offered.

Carl smiled widely and nodded. "Awesome!"

"You know you don't have to do that right?" Lip asked as his best friend stood up to take a beer from him.

"Yeah I know but I love your family." The girl grünend taking a sip.

"Please, they are practically your family at this point. Even if you don't have the same last name, you're still a Gallagher." Lip huffed.

The girl stayed silent for a moment, she was about to respond when a boy she recognized from school came bounding through the door.

"Oh fuck." Lip's eyes widened.

"Gallagher! You wanna tell me why it says I failed the SATs?!" The boy yelled as he came pounding towards the other boy. Lip ran around his best friend and made his way up the stairs, Delaney stepped behind him to block the bigger boy.

"Move girly." He practically growled.

"Any business you have involving Phillip and the SAT's goes through me. I set it up, and I handle all finances. I practically run this shit show." She was surprised with herself at how quickly she changed into a professional demeanor. Thank god for her Entrepreneur course last year.

The larger boy looked confused for a moment.

"In simpler terms for your neanderthal brain to comprehend, I run this bitch. You have a problem, then get the fuck over it. Even if he failed, it's still better than any grade you could ever receive. Oh, and no refunds." Delaney stood tall as she spoke to the older boy. Lip peaked his head around the corner to watch the scene unfold. Bad idea.

"Gallagher!" The older by noticed Lip's present and pushed Delaney, roughly might she add, to the side, running after Lip upstairs.

Delaney groaned and ran after the two. "Carl! Get the bat!" She called back.

Carl grinned before grabbing the Kill bat and following the girl.

Delaney and Carl arrived in the room only to see the rest of the Gallagher family, and Steve, standing there screaming at the unknown boy.

"Pull him back in!"

"Let him up!"

"Be careful Lip he's bigger than you!" Delaney called along with the rest of the family.

Soon Carl emerged from behind the girl, bat in hand.

"I hear you're a football player. Bring him in or I swing." Carl demanded, pointing at the boy's leg.

"Alright, Alright!" The boy yelled, pulling Lip back in (he had been holding him outside of the window, and placing him on the ground.

"See? Everything is o-" The boy let out a scream of pain as Carl swung the bat with all his might, breaking the teen's leg.

Delaney cringed, "Ouch."

Carl turned his head to look at his family, ready to apologize. That was, until the family, and Delaney started cheering. Ian Lifted Carl onto his shoulder while the family showered the young boy with love. Even Liam was clapping.

Fuck she loved the Gallaghers.
