Sayuri headed to school the next day with lunch for Aomine and Fujimoto as an apology for forgetting to introduce him to her mother yesterday. She felt a little bad but it was mostly over looked as she anxiously wondered how her relationship with Aomine would develop. She stood in the kitchen zoned out as she prepared her food. "You're going to burn it." Akira said pulling her from her day dreams. "Ah, oh no." She shrieked in shock as Akira casually walked out of the kitchen without a care.
Now preparing school she figured she hand the lunch over during class to Fujimoto. She wondered what chaos Aomine would pull if he knew she was giving lunch away. He seemed to hate the absent minded Fujimoto with a new burning hatred she had never seen on Aomine before. Her hair pulled into a high ponytail, a hair style she rarely used; after she was ready she headed to school.
As she made it to school she looked out for Aomine who the last three days had always caught her at the lockers. She thought she could sneak by and get the lunch box to Fujimoto. As she tried her best to sneak by she was caught. "What are you doing?" Aomine almost purred as he watched her try to sneak by and make it to the classroom. He was standing they're watching her with an excited look on his face curious as to what she was sneaking by for. She avoided eye contact, her shoulders tense. She'd been caught. "Um, good morning." She tried her best to act normal but she had never been able to lie. "Morning, so what were you doing?" He leaned forward with a smirk. She anxiously leaned back. "It's none of your business." She pouted turning away. "Folding her arms she started to creep away. He grumbled clearly displeased. His stared at her his eyes half lidded as she started to rush away. "If you don't tell me, I'll kiss you." He said his voice serious and empty and slightly annoyed. His expression void of his usual smirk. He was dead serious. She Flushed and instantly spun around clasping her hands over her mouth to protect her lips. She spoke between her fingers in a rushed voice. "I forgot to introduce Fujimoto to my mother yesterday, so I made a lunch box to apologize." She squeaked out. Aomine grumbled again disliking the idea of Fujimoto eating Sayuri's handmade lunch. He avoided Sayuri's gaze as she was searching for forgiveness. Much to her surprise Aomine seemed a little annoyed and embarrassed. She looked up at him slowly removing her hands from her lips. "I'm sorry; I guess I should have asked you first." She said gripping her school bag strap tightly with pressed lips and a guilty expression. Aomine looked down at her she gave him a glance out of the corner of her eye searching for reply shifting slightly. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Hand it over." He said holding his hand out to her. She turned to her bag obediently unzipping it and pulled out a lunch box with an orange handkerchief tied around it. Without a word and the face of a child seeking forgiveness she handed it to him. He took it putting in his own bag. "I'll deal with it." He said giving another sigh. She looked down to the ground and whimpered out. "I'm sorry." Aomine reached his arm out and landed it on top of her head rubbing back and forth on her head. She flinched and closed her eyes from the sudden light impact. "It's fine, no big deal." He said as he started down the hall, Sayuri trailing behind. There was a brief silence before Sayuri anxiously looked up to Aomine with a question. "You wouldn't really kiss me would you?" She asked. He smirked down to her and cocked his eyebrow without a word. She blushed and said. "You know I've never been kissed before." Sayuri looked away from him with a day dreamy expression on as she glanced out a passing window. Aomine looked down at her curiously. He was surprised. A beautiful girl like her had never been in such an intimate relationship. He felt kind of relieved at the same time. She was untouched by anyone else. A proud smirk on his face. It did explain why she was so bashful at every little thing. "I'm calling dibbs on it then." Aomine said as he gave her a smirk.
Later that day it was lunch time and as she pulled out her school bag and prepared to head to the roof Fujimoto approached her at her desk. "Kobayashi." He called to her with the same gentle smile. She stood up and bowed to him. "I'm sorry, you must have waited in the classroom for me but I never came back." She glanced up at him for any sign of anger or forgiveness. The blushing boy shook his head. "No, it's aright, I wasn't waiting that long." He assured her. She stood up. "I still feel bad. Here" She turned and reached into her bag pulling out a lunch box. The boy's face lit up as he looked at the lunch box in front of him. "You made me lunch!" He asked absolutely excited. She shyly nodded. "Thank you so much." He said excepting the lunch box.
Sayuri sat up on the roof with Sayuri and Aomine. Aomine was already done with his meal and laying back on the picnic blanket his arms behind his head as a slight breeze tugged at his blue hair. His eyes closed looking rather peaceful. She thought back to the lunch box she'd given Fujimoto. Aomine didn't want any other guys eating her hand made lunch and had given ten thousand yen to a boy on his team who could cook well for his lunch he had handmade. Aomine swapped the lunches out and took the second box she had made for himself. Aomine had two lunch boxes today and was sitting rather tired listening as Momoi chatted on about some boy that had confessed to her recently. Sayuri had a vivid conversation with Momoi as she complained about how many boys confess to her all the time. "My one and only is Tetsu." Momoi said staring lovelorn into the clouds like a tragic heroine. Having heard all about Momoi's crush and 'self said' boyfriend Tetsu she thought back to her rules she had to have fulfilled before she accepted a guy. "I'm rather picky myself." Sayuri said not really trying to start a conversation but speaking what was on her mind as she used her chop sticks to eat another hot dog. "Really, how so?" Said Momoi curiously tilting her head. Sayuri hesitantly started as Aomine was sitting right next to her. Having heard the topic Aomine opened his eyes listening as he stared off into the blue sky. "I have rules that must be fulfilled before I even consider a relationship." Sayuri avoided looking into the direction of Aomine, staring opposite of him embarrassed at the subject. This would be a good time to set out the rules of the game. "Rules?" Momoi tilted her head to the side her chop sticks in her hand and in her mouth as she wondered what 'picky' rules Sayuri had. Aomine listened patiently as Sayuri opened her pink lips. Taking a deep breath she held up her pointer finger with new found determination. "Number one, He has to agree with me politically." She pulled up her middle finger to join her pointer. "Number two, he has to agree with me religiously." She held up her ring finger and spoke again. "Number three, he has to agree with me socially." She smirked and she held up her pinky. "And forth, He must have my father's approval." She finished off with a sigh as she leaned back. Aomine had been listening, she concluded as she glanced at him. There, the rules of the game have fun playing. As she sipped her juice box Aomine suddenly sat up and turned to her. "I'm walking you home today." He suddenly blurted out with a serious expression. Surprised Sayuri nearly choked her drink down the wrong pipe. Clearing her throat she turned to him surprised. A quick response, he wanted to meet her dad already. "What?" She asked shocked. Momoi watched the exchange and smirked. "To bad I can't come, today I have to prepare for our game against Shutoku high." She winked to Aomine who grumbled and rolled his eyes. Momoi had done nothing to cover up her 'clever' trick and Sayuri was left slightly embarrassed as she turned away pretending not to notice. Sayuri turned back to Aomine rather shyly she asked. "You really want to take me home?" She asked glancing at him the shy way she did that made every boy in the schools heart skip a beat. She was so good at it almost seemed intentional. Aomine cleared his throat and glanced away for a moment recovering from her cute glance. "Of course." He said "I plan to win."
