The train ride was tiring and hot, the train was filled with people and the summer heat gave Sayuri a wet damp feeling as her clothes stuck to her skin. She was really glad she had chosen something cool to wear despite the skin she was showing off. She had long forgotten any nervousness she had around others and of her clothes as the heat took over making her weary and annoyed.
Sighing she was leaning against the train door looking out over the city below watching as the train headed towards the beach. Momoi was sitting down on the bench, she had easily won herself a seat. Men were more then willing to give theirs up to her. The boys were standing the luggage pushed under Momoi feet to provide space for others. Sayuri herself could have sat down, but she felt bad having the boys stand up, despite Haruki trying to find her a seat she gave hers up to an older man and stood alongside the other boys.
As she stood in the heat she felt a familiar gaze and turned her head to see Aomine who was standing alongside her, his back against the door and his head tilted her direction as he gave her a rather warm stare lined with a slight smirk. His gaze made her a little nervous as she pursed her lips and glanced back and forth from him to the window. "What?" She asked reaching up to pull a strand of hair behind her ear. She wondered if something was wrong or if she had something in her teeth. Oh god what if she smelled. As the thought hit her she held her arms against her side conscious of her armpits.
As she got a little flustered and he watched her began to squirm under his gaze he giggled and rested his head back on the wall with closed eyes looking rather relaxed despite the surrounding cramped space and summer heat. "Just enjoying the view." He said peaking an eye out at her. She remembered her rather complimenting top and glanced down to her cleavage a blush painting itself over her already hot features as she wrapped her arms around her breast as if to conceal them. "Look all you want bud, but no touching till the honey moon." She stuck out her tongue at him and shifted away turning towards to opposite side of train.
Despite her words she anxious pulled up her top and avoided eye contact for a moment before glancing back up at him expecting a reply. Seeing him silent as he leaned back his head still resting on the wall both eyes closed she wondered if he was still tired from yesterday, he did seem sleepy early softening all his responses and making her worry. Yesterday they just watched movies all day cuddling, he was asleep almost the whole time. She had taken advantage of his sleep and snooped around his room excitedly looking around the room he lived in.
Still worried as he was now doomed to standing in trains for hours when he was tired she crept up beside him and slide her arm around his. He peaked his eyes open and peered down at her as she curled up against him again. She avoided eye contact for a moment but then threw up a soft smile and tilted her head against his shoulder. "Are you tired?" She asked with a pout as she leaned over to look him directly in the eye. His steel blue eyes examined her form and he let out another giggle at her. "You worried?" He smirked a little his soft tone still evident. "A little." She murmured as she tugged on his arm anxious for him to answer.
"Didn't think you'd care enough to worry about me, now what would have possessed you to care?" He tilted his head downwards at her as he spoke his teasing tone returning as the softness began to disappear. The glint in his eyes made her instinctively want to back away. But she stood tall and decided to stay gripping his arm tighter as if telling him she would stay and was prepared to answer. "I like you, so I am going to worry duh." She muttered to him glancing away and tightening her grip on him. "You'd worry to if it were me, you just looked tired so I wanted to make sure it wasn't to hard to come along."She quickly shot back to give reasons as to her worry.
As she got a little angered, frustrated and mostly embarrassed, she wondered why she arguing in the first place, why she felt so defeated at her caring for him that she had to defend herself, she'd never been one to be angry or get upset, this guy was a nightmare. And wished she didn't love it.
"Just shut up and let me worry you idiot." She finished off giving him a glare with flushed cheeks as she tired to sound threatening. He gave a loud laugh not seeming to care about the surrounding people. She tensed as she realized the others and how Aomine's laughter turned some heads to them. She didn't even care to stop him as it was impossible anyway, he was going to react the way he wanted to and wasn't going to care who was around.
"Yes ma'am." He finished giving her a smile and she warmed at his playful glow as he continued to tease her. She didn't understand who he got so happy from pissing her off. She'd been docile and weak willed, a sweet thing who would never pick a fight, but this guy seemed to push her into them.
"Sayuri, your surprisingly cute when your angry." Haruki's voice called out from behind Aomine. Sayuri stiffened as she forgotten he was there and couldn't see him behind Aomine's dark frame. Aomine turned his head to give him a cautious glare. Sayuri realized she had shown Haruki a different side of herself, the kind she only showed to Aomine. She was a little awkward now as she turned to great his gaze.
"Sorry, I forgot you were there Haruki." She nervously tired to apologize for it while thinking over his embarrassing comment from before. Aomine seemed annoyed and leaned his head back again as his banter with Sayuri was interrupted. "Nah, its fine I got to see something adorable." He added a giggle and Sayuri blushed at the compliment. Aomine flinched at his words and peaked his eyes open to glare again, and of course as usual he was completely ignored.
"I don't know how arguing is cute." She said straightening her posture and glancing around Aomine. "Much less adorable." She mumbled the rest of her sentence and shyly turned away. "Trust me, you make the cutest expressions when your fired up and frustrated, but you forgive so easily its adorable." He explained and Sayuri grumbled in annoyance. She wasn't cute. Momoi was cute, her brother was cute, she'd never seen herself as cute. "I still don't get it." She mumbled loud enough for them to make out. "Don't need to, just keep doing what you do." Aomine said suddenly interjected into the conversation. She seemed even more annoyed as he said it.
"I'm not cute though." She pouted a little. Aomine reached his hand out to poke her cheek again. She clamped her hand around her cheek and swatted his hand away. "You're so mean." She pouted again. "Sayuri, I forgot to ask, what did you bring to eat?" Momoi who had been sitting quietly on the bench beside them had been texting on her phone with a pair of ear buds in place. Sayuri turned to Momoi to answer the question.
As she started about their menu for lunch she had packed, Aomine glanced down to her frame leaning against the wall her head turned to Momoi giving him a perfect view of her neck and the the lovely white skin that drifted down hidden under her clothes. He was excited for that swim suit.
