Their relationship was slowly improving, things she never thought she'd do a few months ago are now in the past. She'd gone on dates, kissed, spent so much time together, her family approved, and he was set on winning her love.
The thought still echoed in the back of her head, would she really love him or merely be caught up in the sweet and toxic lies that caught so many before her. She had to be skeptical, she had to worry.
She knew he truly loved her, she knew he was a good guy who would honestly love and care for her, he was not only a lover but a friend. She enjoyed their feisty banter and his company. Her worries before seemed long gone, only one problem remained. Did she truly love him? She wanted to say yes, but then again worried she was fooling herself. How does one know when its real, when its not a lie.
Then again, it wasn't to big of a problem to worry about, she knew she loved him. At least as a boyfriend and good friend. Though still hesitant for any other commitment, due to lack of experience and the small time she'd known him. She had to be absolutely sure before marriage. The last thing she wanted was to be stuck in a loveless marriage due to a hasty choice.
But that didn't matter now, they years to figure it out, they were only sixteen. He knew how far he could take there relationship until she had a wedding ring. He was content with it even with such old fashioned boundaries.
Besides who said he wanted their relationship to go that far, he probably hadn't even thought that far ahead. She knew he loved her sincerely, and wanted a honest and healthy relationship, but he wasn't thinking so far ahead. She thought herself silly to be worrying over it so seriously, but then again knew she had too.
With a healthy relationship they would grow and bloom into the kind of love she always dreamed about, or they would move on. That was how it worked, one would leave the other if they didn't love them.
She currently didn't want the relationship to end, she was quiet attached to him. He was always on her mind, haunting her thoughts and plaguing her dreams in the sweetest and most toxic way. His large dark frame behind her figure as his muscular arms wrapped around her body. She wouldn't lie that his handsome looks and appeal was influencing some of her dreams at night, where her mind had explored some rather erotic thoughts. She wished she had more control over her dreams because they were really embarrassing.
As she thought about it she realized they had hit a wall in their relationship already, They'd already moved on to dirty kissing, and what more she asked for it. That was about as far as she was willing to go without the absolute commitment of marriage.
And they'd already gotten there in almost four months, and not of dating, of merely knowing each other. That was extremely fast compared to the slow and gentle romance she had pictured for herself.
Maybe she was just crazy old fashioned, but that was rather quick compared to her picture of a couple. But what did she know her own parents were married after knowing each other for an even smaller amount of time, time was important in a relationship, but I guess not a deciding factor. With the exception her parents were well matured adults when they began their relationship.
Maybe she was thinking about all of this way to hard. She tried to pull herself out of her thoughts, she took things far to seriously. Shaking the thoughts away rather animatedly as she struggled to focus on anything else she stabbed her spoon into the lid of her pudding cup. After brooding over her love, she had already eaten two pudding cup and digging into her third promising to herself it was her last.
Remembering she had an urgent matter to brood over instead she changed her train of thoughts shifting to summer vacation. She was really going to regret teasing Aomine over it all this time. She was positive he'd pass the test with flying colors and then it would be time for her to deliver on her side of the bargain.
