The car drive was quiet as Sayuri's mother drove along the streets navigating traffic to make her way across town to Aomine's home. The sun was set and the city lights flickered and glowed in an array of beautiful colors as they quickly drove past. Mrs. Kobayashi sat humming a song on the radio, Sayuri soon found herself singing along to the words.

She wondered how long it took Aomine to walk from his house to her own. It couldn't have been long as it was a short drive. She would've walked there if it had been day, but it was rather late, and her mother loved driving.

Sayuri found herself rather excited as the car began to search for a parking space aside Aomine's apartment complex. She wondered what they would do. She imagined cuddling while watching a cute movie, sharing popcorn and laughing together. As the car came to a stop and she unbuckled, her mother did the same and stepped out of the car. The two then began taking three staircases to reach the fourth floor of the apartment, they were a little tired as neither were athletic, and both not used to so many stairs.

Navigating their way through the halls they soon found his apartment door and Mrs. Kobayashi knocked on the down and began humming again as they waited for a response. In a moment or two the door opened inward and Aomine's large frame was revealed behind the door.

Wearing a baggy green pajama top and blue sweat pants, his hair was experiencing a case of bedhead and he had this tired look in his eyes. Sayuri found him rather adorable and was happy to see a new side of him. The intimidated look he always carried seemed almost non existent as he leaned on the door frame peering out into the doorway with dropping eyelids.

"Come one in." He said as he took  step back and pulled the door open. He had a weary voice and seemed a little surprised to see Sayuri's mom at the door. "Excuse us." Sayuri's mom chirped with a sweet and childish hum as they entered the apartment. Sayuri entered behind her mother a little nervous as she watched her feet and glanced around the room with a cute and nervous smile.

Aomine said nothing and walked into the kitchen visible through the archway provided by the open floor plan. The room was large and completely open, the dining room, kitchen and living room all being barely separated by a few arches and walls. The house had a clean look wit few decorations and a neutral gray tone in the furniture. A few family photos hung a few of the walls, they immediately caught Sayuri's attention as she searched for Aomine and found pictures of him in younger days.

As she admired the pictures her mother looked around the apartment with her signature air headed nature and a soft hum that accompanied it. "What a nice home, its so clean and professional." Her mother giggled as she turned to the kitchen archway to see Aomine standing at the fridge holding a can of soda.

"Sayuri." Aomine turned to Sayuri who was still browsing the photos. Sayuri turned around to him as he walked into the living room towards her. "Yes." She answered a little anxious. He quickly walked up to her and grabbed her hand pulling her along, she followed behind obediently and he speed out of the room leaving Mrs. Kobayashi alone in the living room.

Sayuri was dragged down a hallway and into a Aomine's room. Turning around she could see her mother casually following behind with her same hum. Sayuri quietly followed Aomine into his bedroom and she was lead to bed and guided down to sit on it. She gracefully sat down and looked around the room. It was a little messy the a pair of clothes casually thrown onto the floor, the coffee table in the middle of the room littered in empty soda cans and half eaten bags of chips.

His room was rather neutral and professional like the rest of the house. He had a TV on the wall opposite of his bed  All his books in place on his desk, all his clothes neat in his dresser. She wondered if he kept it up or his family. After a quick glance around the room she turned back to Aomine who sat down on the floor beside the bed, his feet under the coffee table and his back leaning against the bed.
