It was 5 pm and the Sun was still shining confidently over the Ghanaian city of Kumasi.
Kolapo and his friends hardly noticed the weather as they played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on his XBOX One game console.
"Turn down the Air Condition, I'm freezing", Emeka begged.
Emeka who was currently getting his head severed by a frag grenade (in-game).
"....and that's how you get a-head of the game!!! Freeze and die joor" Kolapo joked as he turned the console off and put up Netflix on his Samsung 110-inch UHD TV.
At that time, Holly was putting together a meal for the boys who were already salivating due to the marijuana they had been smoking.
"David!!", she called. "Would you be a darling and come give me a hand". David, Kolapo's friend and record producer had nearly passed out on a couch in the parlour. He slowly gathered his feet and headed to the kitchen to help out.
"Na him belle dey control am", said Emeka as he picked a movie on Netflix.
The room trembled as the Universal Studios theme song blasted through the powerful BOSE speakers waking both boys up from their half-slumber.
Halfway through the movie, Holly rushed into the parlour startling the stoned boys before Emeka paused the movie.
"Is the food ready?" he asked in excitement.
She looked at him with a smirk, "Your babe is at the door". She opened the door and greeted Timi with a warm hug.
"You look stunning love"
Timi smiled
"As sexy as you're looking in that shirt".
Holly was wearing Kolapo's big Longsdale Shirt with nothing but underwear beneath.
"Didn't you guys hear me knock?" Timi inquired as she stepped into the sitting room barely able to see the two boys through the thick weed smoke.
Emeka turned to her and replied, "Didn't you hear the movie not allowing us hear you?".
Timi just stared at her boyfriend in confusion and let out a sigh.
"Kola boo, how far now?" she inquired while rubbing his head. "Which movie is this?". she asked as she made herself comfortable on her stoned boyfriend's laps.
"Look at the people you're asking. I doubt they'd know" Holly answered as she made her way back to the kitchen.
David had already chopped up the sausages and was already frying them when Holly returned to the kitchen.
"Last bit of our late lunch is loading" he joked.
She gave him a peck and thanked him for his help.
"you can go watch Warcraft now".
She hurried to finish up the meal for the boys who were already protesting. As she dished the chicken sauce into a big bowl, she heard another knock on the door. This time, she went through the kitchen door to be quick. As she opened the door, a voice said,
"Hello, I'm Angela"
