It was nearly dark outside and the boys had finished their meal.
Meanwhile, Holly and Kola had been upstairs getting busy while Emeka, Timi and Dave were getting high in the recording studio downstairs.
While Emeka rolled marijuana for all of them, Dave was trying to perfect a beat Kola wanted to use on his upcoming mixtape and Timi was rapping a freestyle on it.
Timi was a really good rapper and had won several awards there in the university they all attended and also in the whole of Ghana. She often referred to herself as 'The She Wolf' though her stage name was 'Viana'.
"Boy I got Balls.....Viagra
This b**ch never falls..... NiagaraShe Wolf, my bite hurts worse than Karma
And I only fuck with the Sutra..... "
She went on & on hitting every bar with a hard punchline.
"Show Off!"
Holly mocked, rolling her eyes as she walked into the studio and slumped lazily onto one of the leather couches.
"Y'all are finally done with your dirty deeds. Horny things!!", Timi joked as she stepped away from the microphone and joined Holly on the couch.
"We could start a studio session if you're into Orgies" Kola echoed as he walked into the studio.
Emeka who had just finished tightening the tip of a neatly rolled weed joint, handed the joint to Kola and said,
"Fuck you Kola, now smoke some weed and shut the hell up"
MY FELLOW NIGERIANS!!!...
Dave's SMS ringtone blared through the huge studio speakers.
"What the fuck bro!!"
Kola screamed as he unplugged the aux cable & handed Dave the phone.
"It's the guy from BAMA, we were nominated!!",
Dave screamed as he slammed the phone on the ground.
BAMA (Bashaki African Music Awards) was the 2nd biggest award show in the African Music Industry (right behind MTv Music Awards) and WolfPack Records (Kolapo's establishment) had just been nominated as Band of the year. It was a big deal for them all because they had long been looking for some recognition in the international scene.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, you are about to witness history in the making...."
Kola began a makeshift speech as he lit his joint.
"....WolfPack is officially....about....to.... blow", accentuating each pause with a puff of his joint.
He then turned around and took out a bottle of Martini from a small fridge built into the wall (which was disguised by a wolf head hung on its door).
"A toast to you, my lovelies" he said as he poured the champagne into 5 glasses.
"Dave, switch off that damn beat. Nobody is working tonight. We're going out to celebrate", Kola ordered and everyone let out a loud cheer.
Timi looked briefly at Holly as if in some sign language only they both understood. In a few seconds they were running up the stairs to Holly's bedroom.
Though they always slept together, Kola and Holly had separate bedrooms because the massive walk-in closets were way too small to contain both their stuff.
"I think we're the same size but make your bobby no tear my dresses o"
Holly said as she emptied a box full of dresses unto her bed. The girls tried dress after dress for about an hour until they found the perfect dresses for them both.
On to the shoes and jewellery....
"Finally!! To the HoundMobile!!!"
Dave announced as the girls appeared at the bottom of the stairs looking stunning in their short dresses and flashy accessories.
Kolapo and Emeka, who were both lost in a lustful gaze, slowly walked up to their plus ones and led them outside.
"Una wan kill person?"
Kola asked the girls jokingly complementing them as they walked outside. When they got outside, Kolapo started searching himself frantically as if he had lost something.
"Looking for these?"
asked Timi as she dangled the keys to his Maserati Levante SUV in front of his face.
"You left them in the studio, drunk mofo" she teased as she handed him the keys.
"Are you sure you want to drive all the to Accra like this? I'm still too young to die o"
Holly asked in fear. Emeka, who was all too eager to leave, just tapped her shoulder reassuringly and helped her into the back seat with a smile.
As soon as both girls and Dave were comfortably seated in the back seat, Emeka jumped in the shotgun seat and Kola started the engine.
"It's your boy Eazi!!!" was what came through the car speakers as Emeka connected the Bluetooth audio to his phone and turned up the stereo!! The girls, who seemed to immediately fall under some dance spell, turned on their snapchat and began taking pictures as Kolapo drove off, starting the 4 hour drive to Accra.
Some night they were in for....
