(A/N: I can't believe it's been an entire year since Undertale was first released!
Happy Birthday Undertale!!! Also, I am really bad at writing text messaging in stories, so I'm sorry if the text messages seem weird and awkward. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter!)

Frisk opened their eyes to the sun beating down on their face. They draped their forearm over their eyes and groaned, before sitting up and looking at the clock.

10:00am

Ahh, beautiful wonderful Saturday. Frisk crawled out of bed, stretched, and traveled down the stairs while still in their pajamas. Frisk could already tell that no one was home, it was pretty obvious with the lack of noise from the living room and kitchen. Papyrus normally went out on Saturdays to meet with Mettaton, Undyne, and Alphys. Sans was usually home, and him and Frisk would normally binge watch an anime that Alphys recommend them, but sometimes he went out. Frisk entered the living room, and instead of seeing a small skeleton curled up on the couch, they saw a note on the table. They picked up the note and read it.

Heya kiddo,

Gone to Grillby's. See ya later.

-Sans

Frisk sighed. Of course Sans went to Grillby's, where else? Frisk smiled, before placing the note back down. Frisk ate a quick breakfast of cereal, then changed into their favorite blue shorts, blue with pink striped sweater, and brown boots. They pulled out their phone and opened their conversation with Asriel.

Goat Pal

Frisk:
Hey, want to meet up at the park or whatever and walk around? Or something?

Goat Pal:
Sure. We meeting now?

Frisk:
Yeah.

Frisk put their phone in their pocket, wrote a quick not for Sans, just in case the skeleton came back, gabbed some money and their keys, and walked out the door.

It took about five minutes for Frisk to walk to the park. When they got there, they noticed Asriel leaning against a tree; seeming to be staring off into space. Frisk smiled mischievously. They slowly crept up to the goat monster, before throwing one arm across his shoulders and yelling, "Heya there, Azzy!!!!!"

Asriel jumped away from Frisk and screamed, a high pitched scream that caused Frisk to burst out laughing.
"Wh-what...why...We-well, howdy, Frisk," Asriel stuttered, "Wh-what's going on?" Asriel had always been one to try to change the center of attention away from him, especially if he had been embarrassed.

Frisk managed to stop laughing and smiled at Asriel.
"Hey. I was thinking we could just walk around and talk; it's a beautiful day outside and this town is so boring most of the time, besides the murders, so why not?" Frisk stated, Asriel shrugged and nodded.

They walked in silence for a few minutes, a comfortable silence. Frisk could tell that Asriel was thinking about something, or else the goat monster would be babbling about random things. Asriel turned towards Frisk.
"So, it's your birthday tomorrow..." Frisk didn't say anything, but instead kicked a small rock. It landed a few feet away from them. Asriel smiled slightly and looked forward again.
"Mom said she'd make a pie specially for you tomorrow. You'll just have to come over at some point."

Frisk paused, their leg raised, just about to kick the rock again. Frisks face immediately brightened up and they looked at Asriel.
"Really?! You're serious?!!" Frisk exclaimed. Asriel chuckled and nodded. Frisk threw their fist up into the air.
"Yes!! Your moms pies are the best!!" Asriel couldn't stop the fond smile from spreading across his face.
