"Devin!"

"Condy!" We both yell in shock. We snatch our hands away from each other.

"What are you doing here?"

"What are you doing here?" We say at the same time.

"I thought I killed you!"

"I thought I killed you!"

"What?"

"What?" I see a lady walking her dog dissapear out of thin air, the leash dropping to the ground. I then turn back to Devin, him having the same expression as me, I assume he saw it too.

"You see what you did." I accuse him.

"Me? No, no, no. I wasn't the one dissapearing things before. It was obviously you."

"What? I never made anything disappear, it was always you." I argue back.

"Are you serious?" He laughs. "Wow, I'm not even gonna continue this argument. Just get away from me."

"So you're just gonna pretend that I was the psycho trying to make everything dissapear. Unbelievable." My eyes roll.

"I don't even know what to say, this is really pathetic."

"I'm the pathetic one? Ok, ok."

"Look Condy, just go back to wherever you came from. I don't love you, ok! You can give it up!"

"Give what up? I wasn't tr-" I trip over a rock. Our arms brush past each other as he steps out the way to let me fall. We both see the stop sign the dog was peeing on dissapear.

"Stop doing this!"

"I didn't do anything!" I stand up dusting myself off.

"What's going on here?" A little boy stops his tricycle in front of us like he's a police officer. I know it's hard to believe but we literally angrily told the little boy everything as he stared in amazement. "Woah cool. What if you both were the psychos?"

"Why did I even bother telling a five year old?" Devin rolls his eyes and scoffs.

"Six in a half." He corrects him and sticks a finger up.

"Six in a half." Devin mocks him.

"I mean, what if you were in parallel universes and both felt everything that happens you know. Like in his world you were the coo coo one and in hers you were the coo coo one." Devin and I look at each other and back at the boy.

"Where did you hear this from?" I squat down to his level.

"I read it at the library."

"You can read?" I ask in shock.

"Yes I can read, I'm six in a half!" He attempts to yell.

"Well sorry." I stand up.

"Wait, where did you find it?" Devin asks.

"I was in the back and it fell on my head but luckily I always wear this." He hits his helmet twice.

"We should go read that book before any other assumptions." Devin suggests. I don't say anything but turn and start the walk there, him following a yard behind me.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Woah."
"Woah." We stare at each other then quickly look away.
"So that means...." I trail off.
"Yea."
