"I went to this summer school and I had to do this project on something mythical. And about two weeks before I met this guy Devin and he was telling me about this rock. So I went on this huge hunt going to every library trying to find information about this rock. Long story short I got an A. Besides that, I wrote about the rock regenerating to this place after it's destroyed." Bruna pulls out a stack of papers and looks through them. She pulls out a map and lays it on her desk. "Here it is." She points to it.

"It literally feels like everything is going perfectly." I say.

"Well yea, this place is supposed to be perfect." Bruna looks around her room. "So perfect it's chilling." She shivers. "What are we waiting for? Let's end this."

~~~~~~~~~~
We all hopped into Javier's car and drove more than an hour to this place. It's now six thirty and time is slipping out our hands. Everything feels so short but really much time has passed. I know it's four hours but I just can't stop the enrvous feeling itching in the back of my neck.
"This way." Bruna leads the way. We follow her to this dark cave. We all turn our flashlights on and hold hands. Walking through it feels like time is going in slow motion. Something about being in the dark is eerie all by itself. After what feels like forever we see a light at the end.
"I think I see it." Kevin points to an shining object. From down here, it looks like the rock.
"Who's gonna go all the way up there to get it?" Javier asks.
"Nose goes!" Kevin blurts. We all touch our noses leaving Bruna to be last. "Good luck." He gives her an encouraging smile. She takes a deep breathe before climbing the tall tree. After a few minutes she makes it near the top. "Ok I'm tossing it down, alright?" She tosses down the rock and starts to climb back down. Kevin almost catches it but it slips out his hand and shatters on the ground.
"Sorry." He gives a lopsided smile. Bruna sighs and climbs back up. When we turn back around the shattered pieces are gone and Bruna's reaching for the rock.
"Ok ready?" She asks.
"Yep." Kevin yells. She tosses it down and he catches it. We wait for Bruna to get back to the bottom.
"Great, now all we have to do is toss it in the pond." Javier says.
"Wait, which side? This side or the real world side?" I look towards Kevin.
"Sorry, I kinda skimmed that part." He scratches the back of his neck.
"The books is in the the car anyway, I'll just look at that." We go back the way we come from and run to the car. Javier passes me the book and starts driving. "Ok so it says here that we have to go through the pond first and throw it in from the other side."
"Everythimg is going so easily and perfectly, don't you think?" Javier says. "I'm telling you I have a very bad feeling about this."
"Let's just focus on getting out of here." I glance out the window.
"It's only seven and it's already so dark." He turns on the headlights.
"Look!" Bruna yells. Javier stomps on the breaks as fast and hard as he can causing us to jolt to a stop.
"And this is why we wear seatbelts." Javier checks to see if everyone is OK. I couldn't believe who I saw.
