This story is drawing to a close!

Six Months Later...

Emma was six months pregnant with a baby girl. She could still remember the wide smile on his face when she told Killian that they were pregnant. He looked like a kid on Christmas Day. But, it had taken a lot of convincing him to stay home on this special occasion. Today, she had found out the sex of the baby. Her and Killian had been fighting over what they thought it was going to be. Emma thinking it was a boy and him thinking it was going to be a girl. She couldn't wait to see the look on his face when she told him. On the passenger's seat beside her, there was a bag that had one single can of silly string. The color, pink. She was going to walk into the penthouse and spray the string all over him and that was the way he'd find out.

As she pulled up to the hotel, she made her way inside and upstairs. When she got into the penthouse, Killian was on the couch. As soon as he saw her, he shot up and hugged her. His hands rested on her shoulders as he stared her in the eyes. His blue eyes filled with hope. "What is it?"

"Step back." She said.

Killian did as he was told and watched as Emma held out the can of silly string. His eyebrows furrowed with confusion but he didn't move a single step when she sprayed it all over him. He looked down and saw the pink color, and a wide smile appeared on his face. He looked back up and Emma stopped spraying him.

"We're having a girl?" He asked.

She giggled. "Yes."

He stepped up to her and kissed her. Hard. Emma moaned into this kiss but Killian didn't stop. Her nipped down her jaw and to her belly. He placed kisses on her stomach over and over again. She laughed and picked the strands of the pink string out of his hair.

"Daddy was right!" He looked up into her bright green eyes that were watching him. "I was right!"

"That you were. Congratulations."

"No, no. You are the one doing all the work. It's your girl."

"Our girl, Killian."

He stood up and hugged Emma tightly. "I love you."

"I love you too." She leaned up on her toes to kiss him and he gladly responded. "Come on, we have to get ready for Regina and Robin's dinner anniversary."

"I can't believe they have been dating for a year now. And why they would want to celebrate with all of us instead of alone. I know I would want to keep you all to myself on our anniversary."

"I don't know either, but it's their choice. We just have to support them. They did the same with us."

Killian and Emma went into the bathroom to start getting ready. Emma went with a simple green dress that fit her well. It wasn't tight or itchy, making it perfect. Killian zipped her up and she tied his tie. They went out to the car that they had bought- a blue Chevy Cruise. They had decided on it when they found out that she was pregnant. It was safe and baby friendly. They drove to Robin and Regina's favorite restaurant. Sherwood Forest was exactly what it sounded like. It was themed to look like a forest. The tablecloths were green with lights hanging above each table. When you first walked in, it looked like a forest, but once you got to the dinning room, it was a beautiful, elegant room. Wood floors, tables, and chairs. Emma could easily see why it was the couple's favorite.

Once they got there, Killian parked and helped Emma out and to the doors. He held it open for her and she bowed mockingly. The waiter lead them to the table, and Robin and Regina were already there, but David and Mary Margaret hadn't shown up yet. They sat down across from the other couple.

"Did you find out the sex of the baby today?" Regina asked.

"Yep. I'm not telling until David and Mary Margaret get here though." Emma replied.

"Just answer me this. Is it what I thought it was?"

"Yep." Emma answered and Regina pumped her fists into the air.

"I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!"

"What? What is it?" Robin asked. "Don't leave me the only one in the dark."

"You'll know soon enough, baby." Regina told him and kissed his cheek.

Five minutes later, Mary Margaret and David came in and took their seats. After they had ordered their food, everyone stared at Emma and Killian, waiting for her to announce what the baby was.

"It's a girl!" Killian blurted out. Emma smacked him on the chest, clearly upset that she wasn't able to keep them on the edge of their seats anymore. "Sorry, love."

"Ha! You owe me ten bucks, Robin!" David said. He held out his hand and Robin huffed as he grabbed his wallet. He handed the bill to David and the blonde chuckled.

"You bet on what our baby was going to be?" Emma asked in disbelief.

"Of course."

"Guys, guys." Killian scolded. Emma smirked. "Why didn't you let me in on that bet?" She hit him again and everyone burst into laughter again.

When everyone left the restaurant, Emma didn't miss the way Robin and Regina scurried away. Mary Margaret talked to Emma about baby stuff while David and Killian talked about sports, on the way out to their cars. They waved goodbye and Emma sighed and leaned against the car. Killian put his hands on her hips and rested his forehead on hers.

"You alright?" He asked.

She nodded. "Just tired."

"We'll go home and take a bubble bath, okay?"

She nodded and he pecked her lips and helped her into the car. As they drove to The Swan, Emma saw flashing red lights and heard sirens. Killian pulled to the side of the road and a fire truck whizzed past them. He quickly pulled back onto the road and went back to the hotel. The sight that beheld them broke Emma's heart and was enough to make tears stream down her face.

The Swan was burning to ashes.
