*kates bad dream* I came home from school, I see my mom and dads cars in the driveway so I known they were home, i unlock the door with my key and stopped i saw a blood bath and my mom and dad dead lying on the floor I screamed NO and then a man wearing all black comes running out of the house and hits me and I just stood there in shock. I woke up and started to cry, it had been 13 years since my mom and dad were murdered in a home invasion, my dad was in the navy so ncis came and took over the investigation. I could not fall asleep for the rest of the night so I when for a later run hoping to tire my self out, but it did not work, so I when to work early. Ziva walks in and see's me and says why are you in so early? I answered saying I could not sleep. Ziva replied saying ok. A half an hour later mcgee and tony walk in and see's me and ziva working. Then the director yells down and says Kate in my office now. I stand up and Im wondering why he wants us. I walk in the office and I said you wanted me? Yeah you might wanna sit down. Said Vance. Then he said Your parents case has been blown wide open. WHAT NO, NO i yelled, it can't be they found the guy. I said No, we had the wrong guy he just confessed that someone payed him and he saw the murder and thats how he known what happened. Said Vance No this can't be happening. I said I'm sorry Kate said Vance I just got up and left the room and when strait to Gibbs I want you to solve a cold case. I said Gibbs says ok who's? My parents. I said then everyone looks at me. Ok gibbs said then vance yells from up stairs and says i told gibbs earlier kate, then I grabbed my stuff and said bye guys and then in to the elevator and then Gibbs jumps in and turns off the elevator and Gibbs says where are you going? I replied saying home. Why? Said gibbs. Gibbs im not aloud to get personally involved in a investigation. I said. But you where there so I still have to take your statement, now go and sit at your desk in till I need you, you got that, then Gibbs head slapped me. I replied yes, Gibbs.
