wowowowowowowoowow! Thank you guys so much!!! 1K viewsssssssssss!!!! I appreciate that so much. I apologise for the late and extremely slow updates but here ya go!
Orcs are scattered everywhere. Elves are scattered everywhere. Dwarves and men are scattered everywhere. Blood all over walls, weapons and armour. Screams of scared women and children in the distance of the city. Cries of pain from soldiers being cut down by orcs.
That is the sounds of the war I hear right now. I am in the middle of the battlefield cutting orc heads off their miserable shoulders. Thorin and his company are still hidden like cowards behind their wall. We are losing a battle against these orcs. I can see Azog in the distance controlling all things happening.
I had jumped off Thranduil's elk a while ago while he went into the city. He argued at first but I told him I would be just fine. I see Thorin's cousin, Dain, head butting orcs and smashing them down with his hammer. This battle is never ending and I cannot see the end. Every time I see one of my soldiers or Thranduil's soldiers fall, I feel a pain rip through me. So much death in so little time.
I don't fight much in battles for this type of reason. I can't stand the stench of blood or the amount of dead bodies littered across the field. The cries of innocent children and women are painful to my ears. As I cut down another orc, I hear a loud horn coming from the mountain. I turn to see all the dwarves rounding up in front of the gates and I try to move closer to them.
All of a sudden, a large bell knocks the gate down and Thorin and his company run through. Thorin shouts in dwarvish as all the dwarves follow him in a charge towards the orcs. They easily cut through all the orcs and clears a path. I take this chance to make my own way down to the city.
By the time I reach one of the city's entrance, I find Thranduil's elk laying lifeless on the ground. I bend down and place my hand over his closed eyes, saying a quick prayer before setting off into the city. Seeing the elk like that, I begin to worry for Thranduil. He may be injured, or dead. I don't know but I only hope he is fine. He is a strong man. Of course he would be.
I hear one of our elves blowing a horn. I frown, why are they calling them back? I run towards the sound, jumping over obstacles and killing any orcs I find in my way. By the time I find the source of the horn, I stop in my tracks, seeing Thranduil talking to a red headed elf. Why have I not seen her before?
I watch in horror as she nocks in an arrow and aims it at Thranduil. "You think your life is worth more than theirs, while there is no love in it? There is no love in you."
I widen my eyes at what she said to Thranduil, that's not true at all. I am about to step forward to make my presence known but Thranduil angrily sliced her bow in half. "What do you know of love? Nothing. What you feel for that Dwarf is not real. You think it is love? Are you ready to die for it?"
Suddenly, an elf put Thranduil's sword down with his dagger. I didn't pay attention to what he was saying, I was paying more attention to who he looked like. He looked so much like Thranduil, a younger version. I then frown, is Thranduil married? How come he never told me? And he also has a son! I can see the resemblance of their hair and everything.
The elf walked away with the red headed elf and Thranduil looks surprised and slightly sad. I decided to make my presence known but appearing in front of Thranduil. Thranduil's eyes light up as soon as he sees me and walks in long strides and wraps me up in his arms. I don't return the hug though, angry that he has kept important information from me.
He looks at me confused and steps back. "Have I done something?"
"Where are those two elves going? And where are you going?" I ignore his question, crossing my arms.
