Fifteen: We Won?

(By the way, if you actually want to read the All Might fight where Taya is unconscious, Majora has it all written out in her story, so head over there!! :) )

I jolted awake and pressed my hand to my forehead. "What happened?!" I ask. Suddenly, a sharp pain erupts from where my hand is and I let out a moan.
"All Might... won," Hakai mutters.
"It was like a finishing move in a video game. He beat the shock absorption right out of him." Eijirou explained but refused to make eye contact. That when I realized I was currently in his arms.

"I've never seen anything like it," Hakai says
"Imagine having power like that. He must've been punching that monster so fast that he couldn't regenerate." Bakugou adds. With shaky breaths, All Might turns toward his last opponents. "You've been bested villains." The man covered with hands was so furious he was shaking.
"Surrender. We all want to get this over with quickly." Eijirou sets me down but makes sure I stay steady.
'Damn! Why does my head hurt so bad?' I pull my hand away to see a faint trace of blood on my palm. 'What..?' I glance up at Eijirou to see some blood on his shoulder as well.
'Was he bleeding?'
I look up to try and see what all is going on now.
The man angrily scratched at his neck until red lines form. "Ah, come on! What's going on here?! He's just as strong as he's always been. Dammit, don't tell me I was lied to."
"What's wrong? Not attacking me?! Didn't you say you were going to clear this level earlier? Well come and get me, if you dare!" All Might shouts. The villain groans and starts shaking in anger again. "Man this is... intense," Bakugou says.

"As I expected. There's no reason for us to fight now. He'll handle this." Todoroki says.
"We should probably regroup with the rest of our class," Hakai says. We all nod and I try to walk along with them but the room keeps spinning so I start stumbling. Before I could completely fall, I feel someone pick me up.
"Woah there! Why don't you let me carry you the rest of the way? You hit your head pretty hard earlier." I hear Eijirou say. I go to argue, but the pain in my head stops me. I close my eyes and lean my head against Eijirou's warm chest, and for some reason, the pain starts to fade away. Listening to his heartbeat seemed to help my raging headache, yet my hairline still stung a bit. Eijirou was warm, and I felt comfortable being in his arms this way. Is that weird..?

Eijirou's chest starts to vibrate as he speaks up to the group.
"I think All Might can hold his own against those two main guys. Let's make sure these dudes don't hurt anybody else." I open my eyes to see him harden one arm while still holding me in his other. 'I'm confused about what's happening. Are we winning?'

Suddenly, a loud gunshot is heard echoing throughout the USJ.
"T-They're here." All Might says, facing the facility entrance. I follow his gaze to see a bunch of teachers by the entrance with our class rep standing proudly beside them.
"Sorry, everyone! I know we're a bit late, but I got the teachers over here as fast as I could." The principal announces from a heros shoulder.
"Aw man, the pros are here. It's game over for real." A villain says before running in another direction. All the other villains followed suit and tried to run too.

Thirteen had activated Black Hole to capture them. Unfortunately, they managed to escape by the skin of their teeth.
"Its really over," I hear Hakai say happily.
"If all the pro teachers are gathered here, it must mean the rest of the school is safe. The villains attacked this facility, but not the rest of the campus," Todoroki states.
"The rest of us need to head to the entrance. The teachers said they'll take care of All Might and Midoriya," Eijirou says. He looks down at me with a small smile.
"I'm gonna take you to see Recovery Girl, okay?" He asks. I nod my head slightly and wince a bit when a small pain returns to my hairline. He nods and begins walking to where the nurse had a booth set up outside.
"I'm going to leave you here with her and run back to help out. I'll be back in a bit." Eijirou explains setting me down on a mat carefully.
"Okay."

I sit up and push my palm to my forehead again to try to ease the aching. At this point, I just had a small headache and my forehead was stinging, which I had yet to know why. I can't remember hitting my forehead.
Recovery Girl used her quirk to ease my headache and heal what I assume is a cut on my forehead, but bandaged it just in case. After everything ended, we were all sent home.

The next day my mom made sure I was okay, numerous times. She even had Hakai come over, which I was quite thankful for the company.
Because of the villain fiasco, school was canceled for today so we got to stay home. No matter what we talked about, Hakai always tried to find a way to wedge Eijirou into the conversation. I mean, we could be talking about dirt and she'd somehow bring him up.

"Taya, have you ever even thought about how you feel toward him?" She asked. "I mean, you always hang out with him at school and stuff."
"I dunno. I've never really thought about him as anything other than a friend yet," I reply looking at my bedsheets.
"Hmm. In all honesty, I think he may have some sort of feelings toward you. You did tell me that he walked you home after battle training," She looks at me with a cocked brow.
"That's because you were hurt."
"He carried you into the gym during the quirk assessment."
"No one else wanted to. Plus you basically made him do it."
"He cradled you in his arms as he took you to see Recovery Girl yesterday."
"I was hurt.."
"He held you against his chest in the hallway that one time."
"I got pushed!" My eyes shot up to look at her with a pout.
"Your face is bright red!"
"That's because-! Because..."
"Because...you're realizing that I'm right and you're accepting your feelings toward him?"
I looked up at her with a weak glare before letting my eyes drop back down to my fingers, which were entangled in my comforter.

Hakai laughs under her breath before standing from my bed and putting her hand on my shoulder. "I'm not gonna force you to like him, Taya. That's not what I'm trying to do, I promise. But whatever you do think about Kirishima, just know...that I totally ship it!" She says with a giggle. I look up at her with a smile.
"Oh, shut up ya weirdo!" I say swatting at her. She laughs but dodges my hand.
"Alright, alright. I gotta get going. I'll see you tomorrow, kay?" She says. I nod with a smile. "See ya, Hakai."

I flop down on my bed and cover my eyes with my arm and sigh. I stay like this a few minutes before jumping out of bed and heading down the stairs to the kitchen. I grab a quick snack and head for the door.
"I'm going out!" I call.
"Okay Sweetie! Just be safe!" Mom calls from her room. I leave the house and head for one of the most peaceful places I know to get some fresh air.
