"That concludes Round 1. Here are the results," Midnight announces as she reveals the top people. "The top 42 students will be moving on to round two. Congratulations! As for the remaining students, take heart! This festival's showstopper is still being prepared." 'Twelfth out if 42 isn't bad. And it looks like all of our class made it through too.' "And now, on to today's heart-pounding second event! What could it be? Well, I'll tell you!" Midnight flashes a sexy smile before telling g everyone what the event is. "Behold! The Human Cavalry Battle!"

"Human Cavalry?" "But that's a team sport. How are we supposed to compete at an individual level?" Some students seem confused about how it was supposed to work, but Midnight knew how to ease our worries.

"You will all form 2 to 4 person teams and form a horseback configuration. The rules are the same as a basic human cavalry battle: swipe the enemy rider's headband and guard your own, but there's one exception..." She pauses. "Everyone will receive points based on their performance in the last trial. The team's headband worth will be the totaled points of its team members."

"Oh okay. So it's still an individual thing?" I mumble.

"Yes, anyways... The number of points you're worth will be 5 points if you're 42nd, 10 if you're in 41st, and so on. First place, however, is the exception with... TEN MILLION POINTS!" At her words, everyone's eyes move to look at Midoriya. 'He's got to feel the pressure now... Everyone will be going directly to him.'
"You all have fifteen minutes to assemble your teams and come up with a strategy. Go!"

Surprisingly, not many people swarm toward Midoriya, instead, they go to Bakugou. 'Hmm. Who should I go to?'

"Taya!" I hear Eijirou call. I turn around and smile at him. "Do you wanna find a team with me?" He asks.

"Yeah! Got any idea who you wanna be with?" I ask, but he shakes his head.

"No, but come this way and we can look." He says running off toward where Bakugou was. I go to follow him but I find myself lifted off of the ground.

"What the-?!"

"Excuse me, Miss Hanzo, but I believe you are looking in the wrong direction," Iida says turning toward Todoroki and placing me back on the ground in front of him. I whip around with a frown.

"You didn't have to pick me up!!" I scold.

"My apologies. I told him to get you," Todoroki says calmly. I turn around to see him and Momo facing me. "I believe you'd be a great asset to our team and I believe we can win. Will you join us?" He asks with a blank expression.

"Uh, sure. I'm flattered, but what about..."

"Taya, you found one?" Eijirou asks running back up to me. "Mind if I... oh wait, it's already full isn't it?" His face saddens and I put my hand on his arm. "It's alright! I'll go team with someone else. Good luck alright?" He bends down and presses a chaste kiss to my cheek before running off toward Bakugou again.

"Now, the reason I chose all of you is because I think this is the battle formation with the best balance," Todoroki says. "Hanzo your quirk can prevent others from getting too close, either with your eyes or nails. You're on the left. Yaoyorozu, you're on the right. You'll be making us anything we may need as we go along. And Iida, you're in front with your engine power. You'll be our physical defense as well," He explains.

"And Todoroki, you can feint your attacks by using either ice or heat, right?" I ask. He turns his head toward the crowd.

"No..." he says. "While in combat I'll never, ever use my heat side." He replies glaring up at the crowd. 'Dang. Who does he have beef with?'

"All right, have you all picked your little teams?! Well, you better have!" A voice shouts over the stadium. "Let's do it!! Start the countdown to this vicious clash!" Our group gets into our formation and Todoroki ties the band to his head. 'We have 670 points right now. We have a pretty good standing as it is, but our target is Midoriya.' "Three!" 'Let's do this.' "Two!" 'Watch me, mom!' "One! Start!"
