Chapter 12 Brown Eyes

I didnt get the chance to tell Lauren about Jake and I, i just couldnt i hope she wont be mad that i lied.When i got home i was super tired so i just went to sleep.I didnt get a chance to Call Lauren because my phone was comepletely dead.The next day i awoke around 11 AM.As soon as i woke i faced little brown eyes staring at me.I squeeled and almost fell of my bed.

"Whats wrong sleepy head?"Sophie asked gigglin

"SOPHIE!You almost gave me a heart attack"

"No i didnt,cmon Mom has a surprise for you"

She grabs my hand and practically drags me out of bed

"Sophie slow down" i say trying to walk properly

Instead she runs even faster pulling me behind her

"Hey Mila"my mom says with a huge grin

"Whats up mom?Sophie said you have a surprise for me?"

"Yeah i do its in the livingroom"

I walk over to the livingroom to find Jake sitting on the couch and his parents

"Jake!"i say hugging him and then his parents who are like my family

"Camila you are so grown and beautiful" Says Jakes mom

"Thank you" i say smiling at her

"Camila i thought we could go get something to eat"

"Uhm yeah let me just go change into something more presentable"i say as i run into my room

I put on jeans and a short top that shows my belly button a bit

"Im ready" i say as i walk towards the door

"After lunch call me Camila"Says my mom

"Uhm okay?" i say a bit confused why would she need me to call her

We drive to a diner four blocks away from my house

"Jake i thought you were staying in Cali?"

"Yeah i was but your mom told my parents you were coming home and i thought it would be a good time to reunite all of us and maybe continue what we once had"

"Uhm yeah well Jake"

"Camila i know what i did was wrong ok and im really sorry i truly really just want-"

"Jake lets not go there ok" i say a bit bothered

"Ok sorry lets not ruin our apetites,if its possible for you"

"Ugh jerk"i say punching his arm

"Did you have any plans for your vacation?"

"Actually i did i was planning to go visit Lauren"

"But you just left her like hours ago"

"Yeah but i already miss her i feel like i havent talked to her in forever"

"Oh Camila well why dont you just call her"

"Ill text her"i reach at my pocket and realise i left my phone in bed

"Damnit i forgot my phone i was in such a rush"

"Ill let you use my phone if you want?"

"No its alright ill call her later shes probably busy anyway"
