Chapter 18 Let Her Go

Camilas POV

-Flashback-

"Camila if you dont listen to me not only will your career end but the other girls' as well"

"I know but why-"

"No questions Camila if you want to continue to live your dream you better do as i say"

I wake up sweating and breathing heavily.Its bearly 8AM but i cant go to sleep i dont want to.I walk downstairs to the kitchen and i can hear someone already cooking.

"Hey Camila" says the older green eyed girl

"Well you look happy"i reply

"Yeah i slept well thats all" i missed seeing her genuine smile

"Well i gotta run"

"Where are you going?"

"Breakfast with a friend" the black haired girl says rushing out of the house

I sit on the chair and eat the breakfast she had already made.Why would she make breakfast and then just leave to eat breakfast?Weirdo.

"Hey Mila"

"Hey Dinah"

"Wheres Lauren at?"

"She left for breakfast"

"By herself?"

"No with, well she said a friend"

"Shes been doing weird things lately"

"Really?"

"Yeah last night she spent all afternoon god knows where and came back with the biggest smile on her face"

"Well thats weird but im happy for her" i say as i look down at the scrambled eggs and pancakes

"Is she seeing anyone?"i ask after a moment of silence

"I dont know Mila you should ask her"

"I dont think its any of my business"

"Why not?"

"Because i let her go"

Only miss the sun when it starts to snow.

I walked outside to the backyard and placed my feet in the pool.I could see the reflection of the sun setting.I hadnt noticed how late it had become and Lauren still hadnt arrived home.She was probably out having fun with other people.She was always outgoing and good at making new friends.I wouldnt be surprised if she had a new bestfriend by now but it was my fault either way.I let my sunshine go.She was the only thing making my life bright now my thoughts and life were dark and shallow.I let her go not because i wanted to but because i had to.

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low.

With Lauren i was at the top of my life.I didnt need anyone else but her.I dont want anybody else but her.Im being forced to kill myself emotionally.Its worst then before we were together.Now i have hurt her, now ive reached a new low. Its a new kind of sadness.Its a new kind of death.

Only hate the road when you're missing home

Her love kept me sane.With her i felt safe no matter where i was.Her soul comforted mine.Her hold was my home.Now i had to stay far from her.I was in a road with a destiny but no ending.
