Chapter 19 Shake it off

Laurens POV

My heart ached more than before.I struggled to sink in the thought of physically losing Camila.She still meant so much to me even if she didnt love me anymore.I loved her but i had given up my fight for her to love me.What i still didnt understand was how out of all the people on her phone they chose to call me?

By now Dinah had called the other girls and Camilas parents were on their way to LA.

"Camilas Family?" Asked a doctor approaching us

"Yes thats us"

"Im happy to say the surgery was a succes but Mis Cabello is still in a coma and we dont know for how long she'll be in this state"

"Can we see her?"

"Yea but only two of you"

"Ill go with you"Dinah said

As we followed the doctor i created an image to try and prepare myself of how Camila would be.I didnt know how i would react.

As the doctor stops i feel my hands begin to sweat.

"Here we are ladies and like i said if she makes any movement or anything be quick to call us"

As Dinah opens the door i look to the floor.

"Its ok" she whispers

As i enter the room i close my eyes.Dinah squeezes my hand reassuring me.

I begin to look up first at the bed.Then at Camila.I begin to feel tears fall out of my eyes at the sight of the now physically broken girl.It all began to sink in the girl i loved wasnt there.

"Thats not her D-"

I slowly tried opening my eyes.I felt something on my face i placed my hand on it and realized it wAs an oxygen mask.

"Your up"said a soft voice

"Where am i?"

"You fainted while seeing your friend" Then i remembered why i was here.Camila.

"Wheres Camila"

"Shes in her room but you should get some rest"

"No i want to go see her"

"Here drink some juice hunny"she said placing a cup in front of me.I looke at her and slowly realized she was the nurse that gave me Camilas phone.

"Wait youre the nurse that gave me Camilas stuff right?"

"Yes why?"

"I just,I was wondering why did you guys contact me instead of contacting her parents?"

"Well the patient was going to send you a message so we thought you would be our best shot at reaching somebody"

"Was the text the cause for her to crash?"i asked nervously

"We dont know yet miss"

"Lauren You have to get some rest"

"No im fine ill stay here with her"

"Lauren cmon"Ally pleaded

"Ill stay here until her parents arrive then ill go home"

"You promise?"

"Yeah"

"Ok call us to pick you up or if Camila wakes up"I nodded my head

What i still couldnt shake off was that Camila was goig to text me.It all happened because she decided to text me.Then i remembered i had her phone.I reached for my bag and searched util i found the dirty phone.I unlocked the phone.I took a deep breath before going to her messages.There was my name on her drafts.I slowly pressed through the cracked screen at my name.

Lauren i just wish i could tell you all im about to write.I miss you so much you wouldnt understand.I miss your hugs,your kisses,your smile,simply i miss us.Now you are probably over us and have a perfect boyfriend because i pushed you away.But i have to push you away.Our love isnt meant to be known but i know its meant to be.I miss having you by my side holding my hand.I miss your laugh and the way we played around.I miss seeing you sleep while im in your grip.I miss the feeling of being loved by you.I would love to have you back but they are forcing me to do this.You mean everything to me but your happiness means more than everything to me.I rather have you be happy with someone else than lose it all just for us.Ill always love you Lauren ALWAYS no matter what please remember that.
