Chapter 10: Look Out Point

Vik's POV
Ding ding

I sat up in my bed and leaned against the head board. I then grabbed my phone off the nightstand and slid it unlocked to look at my messages.

Mum❤️: make sure to wish your brother a happy birthday

I rolled my eyes and threw my phone on the nightstand. I'm not in the mood. I shifted down in my bed and I shoved my face into the pillow.

I was about to fall back asleep when I heard footsteps coming towards my room. Josh. I heard a soft knock and then the door handle turning. Josh came in and sat on the bed next to me, rubbing my back slowly.

"Vik?" He whispered

I groaned at him, not wanting to leave the comfort of my bed. Josh chuckled and pulled me from my comfortable position, to on his lap. I pushed my head into his chest and he ran his through my hair.

"They want to record in 20 minutes."

"I don't want to face them." I mumbled into Josh's chest. He sighed and stood up, bringing me with him. I wrapped my legs and arms around him, but kept my face shoved into his body. I heard him walk down stairs and out the door to his car. He sat me in the passenger seat and went around to the drivers. I pulled my feet up to my chest and put my face into my legs. He placed a hand on my knee as he pulled out of the driveway.

~time skip~

I heard him turn off the car and get out, but I didn't lift up my head. I then heard my door open and him lean in, unbuckling my seat, and picking me up.

"Look" he whispered to me as he placed me down.

I looked up to see the sunset in the distance. He took me to 'Look out point.' I smiled and he took my hand, leading me to a guard rail that blocked cars from going over the cliff. We both sat on it and I leaned into him as he put his arm around me.

"I don't want to face the guys."

"Why?"

"What if they do as Ethan?"

"They won't, I won't allow it."

"But-"

"Vik, I love you." He turned his head looking in my eyes, his had a sparkle in them. "I won't let anyone hurt you, I'll protect my star at all cost."

He leaned in and kissed me. I felt a thousand butterflies go through my stomach.

"I'm so-"

"You have nothing to be sorry about."

I smiled and we kissed again. "Let's go back to the house."

"Ok." He chuckled, standing up and stepping over the guard rail.

"Joshua?"

"Hm?"

"You forgot me."

He laughed and came back over, picking me up, carrying me to the car.

"I'm lucky."

"So am I."
