Chapter 11

Chapter 11: Joshua

Third POV
It had been two weeks since the sidemen had spoken to Ethan or about Ethan. They didn't want to upset Vik and make him cut again. Many people on Twitter asked why the boys weren't speaking on Twitter or posting videos with Ethan. All of the sidemen had forgotten what Ethan did for the most part, expect Josh. He couldn't believe anyone could treat Vik with such rudeness. Vik was a saint to all. Josh thought a lot about the events that occurred two weeks ago. He was even thinking about it when JJ had barged into his room one evening at 4:00.

"Josh, you ready?!?" JJ screamed as he ran into the room. Josh nodded his head and rolled his eyes. JJ was always doing crap like this. He used to say something about it, but got used to it.

Josh, JJ, Simon, and Vik were all going to Nandos since they hadn't gone out in a while. When JJ left Josh's room, Josh followed, swiftly closing his bedroom door behind him. He trotted down stairs to where the rest of the guys were waiting. He quickly put on his shoes and followed the boys out the door. They decided to take Josh's car. Josh drove with Vik in the passenger seat and JJ and Simon in the back.

They soon arrived at Nandos and the boys were eager to eat. They all jumped out of the car and hurried to the door. Once they got seated and ordered they started bantering back and forth on many topics. As usual, Simon and JJ got in their usual argument about who knows what. As Josh listen to the conversation, he felt Vik tug at his shirt sleeve. Josh looked over at the small boy with a raised eyebrow. Vik only responded by pointing across the room towards the door. Josh looked over with curiosity, and saw Ethan and Emily at the door. He turned back to Vik with a frown on his face.

"They are probably on a date, so they might not even come over or see us." Josh said with a reassuring smile. But that didn't even fool himself. JJ and Simon noticed their upset faces and stopped their argument.

"What's up?" JJ asked quietly, confused on the issue.

Vik pointed towards the couple and JJ and Simon looked over. Their faces immediately turned back, knowing the problem. If Ethan came over and caused issues, a lot could happen. Vik's cuts had just healed up. The boys couldn't be going through that again.

The food soon arrived and the boys ate with their heads down, careful that Ethan wouldn't see. They are quickly and asked for the check right away.

The waitress came back with the check and the boys hurried out of their booth. They made their way to the front and paid for the check. They then turned and made their way out the door. Once they made it out the door, Josh let out a sigh. But the sigh was prematurely.

"Well, isn't it the gay squad."

Josh and the boys turned to see Ethan and Emily standing by the door. Vik moved behind Josh, but held his hand.

"What do you want Ethan?"

"Oh nothing. I'm just taking my girl out for dinner."

"Guys, let's just leave." Simon said grabbing Josh and JJ's hand, pulling them to the parking lot. Vik followed close behind, making sure to keep a hand on Josh.

"Disgusting and inhuman." Ethan muttered turning back to his date.

Josh heard his mutter and turned around, taking Vik's hand off of him. Josh walked over to Ethan and put his hand on his shoulder, turning him around. Then Josh punched Ethan in the jaw, making him stumble backwards. Josh was about to punch again, when he heard a small voice behind him.

"Joshua."

Josh let go of Ethan and turned back to the boys. "Let's go." Josh muttered as he picked up Vik and placed him on his hip.

The boys arrived home and they went to separate rooms, expect for Josh and Vik. They both went to Josh's room to talk for a moment.

"Josh, you didn't need to do that."

"I know, but I- I couldn't just-"

"I know, Josh."

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine. Josh?"

"Yeah."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Besides I like this aggressive side."

Josh smirked at Vik's words and moved closer to him, pulling him into a passionate kiss. "Maybe we should explore that some time."
