Chapter 13

Chapter 13: Dinner Date

Vik's POV
It had been a couple days since my nightmare and Josh had slept with me every night since. It made me feel so much better with him holding me in his arms. We would switch rooms each night so both beds were being used. Simon and Jj thought it was "adorable" that we were sharing a bed together.

"Want to go get lunch?"

I turned away from the chapter book I was reading and looked at the older man that stood at my bedroom door. I smiled and agreed. This would be officially are second date even though we have been dating for a little over a month.

I got dressed quickly and met Josh in front of the car. He gave me a quick kiss and opened the door for me.

We arrived at the restaurant and it wasn't very crowded -thank god-. We got to sit at a very nice booth with a nice view of the city. The date was perfect or so I thought.

Josh reached across the table, while we looked at our menus and held my hand.

"What can I get your gentlemen?"

"Pepsi."

"Water."

We waitress walked away, writing on her pad. We continued to search the menu for The best possible item to get.

About 10 minutes had gone by and neither the drinks or our waitress had come. I looked past Josh's head and saw her laughing and pointing with one of our coworkers. I frowned and put my head into my hand. Of course.

"Vik?-"

"Excuse me? Can we order?" I said to the waitress walking by.

"We don't serve your kind. Go to a gay bar for service."

My eyes fell wide as the waitress spoke. We just wanted a nice dinner.....

"Vik, let's go."

Josh stood up placing the napkin on the table. He reached out his hand and I took it, standing up. Josh pulled me out of the restaurant and I looked back one last time. I saw the waitress laughing with her friends threw my watery eyes.

We got into the car and tears ran down my face. I leaned against the window and rubbed my face with my hand.

"Vik."

I ignored him and turned closer to the door. He sighed turning on the car and placing his hand on my knee.
