Chapter 12

Chapter 12: No Yogurt

Third POV (same day, later that night- around 1 AM)
Josh was editing when he heard his stomach growl. Josh sighed, saved his progress, and got up from his desk chair. He stretched and then moved out of his room, and down the stairs to the kitchen. When he arrived to the kitchen he saw Simon sitting at the island, eating a leftover slice of pizza. Simon smiled at Josh, when he heard him walk in, but then turned back to his pizza. Josh moved to the fridge, taking out a yogurt and placing it on the counter.

"Did Vik say anything about you hitting Ethan?" Simon asked in a low voice, as if Vik was going to hear from his room.

Josh nodded his head, "he didn't mind though."

Simon nodded and Josh moved out of the kitchen. He went to the bottom of stairs when he heard a scream of his name from Vik. He ran up the stairs and barged into Vik's room, to see Vik shaking in his sleep. He was having a nightmare. Josh placed his yogurt on the desk and moved onto the bed, shaking Vik, trying to wake him up. Vik gasped and flew up in bed. Josh gasped also at his sudden movements and Vik jumped into his lap. Vik silently cried into Josh chest and josh rubbed his back.

"It's alright Vik."

"You-you were hurt and and dy-dying, I couldn't help." He cried a little liar and Josh pulled him off his chest, lifting his chin to look up into his eyes.

"Do you want to sleep with me?" Josh asked quietly. Vik nodded his head and Josh stood up, with Vik in his arms. Vik put his head in the crook of Josh's neck and was lightly crying at this point. Josh took Vik to his room and placed him under the covers. Josh then moved to the other side of the bed and got in next to Vik. Josh pulled Vik close to him, being the bigger spoon. "I love you." Josh expected to hear an 'I love you' back, but all he heard was Vik's soft snoring. Josh chuckled to himself and kissed his hair.

~time skip~

Josh slowly woke up when he felt, Vik trying to get out of his grip. Josh only responded to pulling Vik closer to him.

"Joshy, I need to record."

Josh groaned and let go of Vik. Vik slid out of bed, stretching and turned back to Josh.

"Thanks for comforting me after my nightmare."

"No problem. But you owe me."

"What?"

"I never got to eat my yogurt."

Vik giggled and leaned in to kiss Josh. When they kissed, Josh pulled Vik back onto  bed so that he was laying on Josh.

"Joshua!"

Josh sat up, laying against the head board with Vik straddling him.

"I love you Vikram."

"Even though you didn't get your yogurt?"

"Yes." Josh said pulling Vik close to him, capturing his lips.

"Then I love you too." Vik placed his head on Josh's chest and breathed deeply. "I think recording can wait."
