Mummy and me have been living in our new house for a while now. Uncle Paul still comes to visit, sometimes on his own or sometimes Uncle Ringo comes with the boys so we can play. I like it more when just Uncle Paul comes though because the grown ups all sit and talk very quietly but I know it's something about daddy because I've heard them say "John" and I know that's daddy's name.Last time they came it made mummy cry for a long time after Uncle Paul said something about a baby coming. I hope daddy is alright because he hasn't been to see me or write to me yet. I hope I got the address right for our new house! Daddy could ask Uncle Paul if he didn't know it but I don't know if they're still not best friends anymore. I'll ask Uncle Paul next time he comes. I wish I could ask mummy about it all but if anyone mentions Daddy she cries and I don't want to make my mummy sad.
Mummy shouted me this morning. Sje was smiling at me. She hasn't smiled like that since daddy went away. She held something in her hand, I though it was a photograph until mummy explained that it was a postcard.....from MY DADDY!!!!!!! I looked at it. It didn't have much writing on it. Mummy read it to me.
Dear Julian,
Having a nice time on holiday, The sun is shining a lot. We'll both come to see you soon.
John and Yoko.
There were some funny squiggles at the bottom whch I didn't understand. Mummy said they were a different language. She gave me the post card and said I could keep it. I carried it carefuly upstairs and sat on my bed and looked at it again, remembering mummy's words as she had read it.
He didn't anwer my questions! Why did he go and make me and mummy sad? When's he coming to see me? He didn't say love from Daddy!!
He didn't even write me a letter! He couldn't be bothered! I don't think my daddy loves me anymore.
I HATE MY DADDY!!!!!.
