'No-one loves you like I do,' She grins,

'And the King and Queen of this year's prom is...'

'We are so not gonna win this,' Perri sniggers in my ear,

'Hey, all the other couples were moaning about stepping on each others toes,'

'I kept stepping on your toes?'

'Fair point,'

'Kacey High and Perri Kiely!'

'Oh my God,' I cringe, turning to Perri as we walk towards the stage,

'My practice with the boys must have payed off,' He whispers as we walk through a clapping and cheering crowd holding hands,

'Pel, you started a dance battle with all the other boys in the room,'

'Yeah, but I won,'

He steps onto the stage then turns round to help me up, I take his hand and allow him to pull me up in front of a huge hall full of people,

'How do you feel that you have won king and queen of the dance,'

'Oh my God! That's Perri Kiely from diversity!' Everyone gasps and realises,

'Is that correct?' The man, who apparently is named Steve, Turns to Perri,

He squeezes my hand and looks at me, I nod once and he turns back to steve with the microphone,

'Yes, That's right,' He smiles, everyone cheers and they all mutter again and it could only be about one thing.

Me.

'Oh and erm, This is my Girlfriend, Kacey,' He turns to me and everyone cheers again, I smile and wave. Looking into the audience  see a few people recording it, probably for snapchat. Oh my God, the diversity fandom is going to find out about us and this isn't how I wanted it to happen at all. Without being able to do anything about it, I wave and squeeze Perri's hand, he squeezes back.Steve allows us off the stage but follows us to the side

'My daughters a big fan,' Steve laughs,

'Aw, well you'll be able to tell her about tonight,' Perri laughs,

'Well she's actually here, she's using the dance studios upstairs. Do you reckon I could go and grab her?'

'Erm sure, I can't see that being a problem,' Perri smiles and Steve runs off

'Sorry Kace, I didn't expect this,'

'It's fine, your fans are the ones that got you to where you are now, remember that,' I smile and he smiles back,

'No way!' We hear a girl squeal,

I was expecting a cute, giggly, shy eight year old.

But just when things can't get any worse...

A teenage girl, looking about 15/16 jumps onto Perri and hugs him,

'Oh my god I'm literally your biggest fan,'

'Aw, I'll tell the boys,'

'Thank you!' She cries,

'So you're into dancing?'

'Yeah, I'm actually coming to your audition for 'Genesis' next week,'

'Oh, well I'll see you there,' He smiles awkwardly, knowing I'm watching,

'Who are you,' Her smile drops and she turns to me,

'I'm his girlfriend,' I step forward, my face still half cringing from when she was diving all over him,
