Hey guys! I'm back! Sorry about all the empty space and not being there to make the next chapter. I'm writing this as I shower and boy is it hot in herrrr.
Kakarot pov
Vegeta gives a weak smile and I tighten my grip on his hand as we stand outside the hotel, packs on our shoulders, destination in mind. We decided to leave for the time being to go talk to king vegeta. and ask about the saiyan god. I honestly have no idea who else to ask besides beerus himself but even he doesn't know much about the legend either. So we chose to get a ticket to hell and ask the great king as well as my mates dead father. Seeing as how I have been in heaven and hell before, this shouldn't be a problem, right?
Just like before there is a shuttle to hell and when we get off I can feel vegeta shaking against me as my foot hits the dirt.
He suddenly catches his composure and I see a complete change in my princes personality.
"Don't worry kakarot, you are about to meet a legend anyways. He is a strong and capable man who should give you all his knowledge without hesitation." I smile at his smug attitude. At least he isn't shaking anymore.
"Vegeta, do you look anything like your dad, do you think?"
He smirks with a tsk sound and cackles.
"Of course kakarot! Why the man is my very blood! Have you not seen your son?"
"Well, I mean vegeta junior looks a lot like you but.... I think he likes me more" I tease
Vegeta blushed with a frustrating tone and shoves me
"You take that back! He most certainly views me as a better alpha and you know it!"
I snortle but stop short to hear a deep clearing of ones throat.
My eyes lock on a tall and intimidating man who has a thick beard with dark brown hair shot up like the flame that vegeta has.
My mate stiffens and bows, his arm on my back in a way that makes me bow as well. I feel an odd chill run through my back.
"Hello father. It's been a while." Vegeta finally breaks the silence with his formal tone of voice.
"Vegeta, I haven't seen you since I lost you. And when I see you, you bow to me? Come give me a hug I haven't held you since you were born!" The once composed man seems to break into tears as he falls to his knees, arms out reached and my mate runs to those open arms, his tears flowing and I stand awkwardly to the side, until they have caught their breath and smile at eachother with such genuine eyes. My mate stands and takes his fathers arm, guiding his gaze to me.
"Father, id like you to meet my mate, kakarot. Son of Bardock."
"B-Bardock?" King vegeta stammers and runs to me, grasping my hand and shaking it firmly.
"You boy, you! Your father tried so hard! He warned us and fought for us while we all stood back and let him die. I owe you everything and I entrust you to my son with the greatest of honor!"
I smile sheepishly and scratch the back of my hand.
"Well, gee-I-I don't know what to say sir I ain't that equipped with good words but you really are a pleasure and honor to meet. And thank you for your blessing!"
He chuckles and wipes the leftover tears from his eyes.
"But um- sir you see we came for the reunion but there's also something we need from you, and it's your knowledge. We have just been bothered by lord beerus and he is forcing us to prove that the saiyan god is no longer a legend."
The king rubs his chin and leans back in his stance.
"Well, you came to the right person. But all I can say is-yes it's a legend but it's never been done. If you prove it, I would be greatly surprised."
I frown and vegeta stands back at my side again, sliding his hand into mine.
"It's alright then father, as much as it hurts my pride to say it, kakarot here, is the strongest saiyan in all the galaxies and universes.
