Lucy p.o.v

Flash back...

"You look so beautiful baby girl!  That dress looks so good on you.  Come here to mommy.  You can do it.  One step" a woman spoke.

Giggling slightly I stared at her as she smiled.  I have noticed that she was someone who was safe she was mother.  Laughing at her attempts to make funny faces I grabbed onto the sofa pulling myself upwards.  Taking a wobbly step I began my journey to her. Her eyes grew wide as she started to shout someone else's name.  A man walked in causing me to stop.

"Lucy?  What's wrong baby girl" she asked noticing my behavior change.

"Why is she glowing.  What are those marks" the male snapped.

" Go" mother snapped.

It was too late.  I had fallen over my feet.  Pain erupted from the fall causing me to cry out. The first cry was all it took before a warm feeling sparked within.  The world spun before I passed out.

Some time later.

"You're telling me our daughter has magic.  That you do too" a voice boomed.

"Listen Jude.  I never thought Lucy would gain them as well.  I never was going to use my magic ever again" mother began.

"I don't care.  She destroyed the whole mansion!  She nearly killed both of us" Jude snapped.

"I don't know why!  These powers we're meant to heal not destroy" mother said with a calk voice.

"I'm sending her away" he finally replied.

"YOU WILL NOT" mother screamed.

"Magic users are forbidden remember.  My wife or not I will turn you in.  There a hospital that open.  It secretly take magic users and drain them of their power making them normal.  I'm sending both of you there" he argued.

"No.  Not her.  Let her grow a bit then send me there.  She deserves to grow up feeling whole" mother voice suddenly got low.

Sniffling a bit I began to move around.

"Hush she's awake"

Present..

Prying my eyes open I tried to take in my surroundings.

"She's awake" Wendy voice suddenly exploded in my ear.

This caused me to groan before flinching away.  Everything felt so sensitive all a sudden.

"I'm glad she's awake.  Also amazed you guys found me" Levy voice soon followed.

Oh yeah, the City of Knowledge was our original destination. I couldn't seem to keep my eyes open for long before having to close them due to pain. My head seemed to still be pounding away.

"Lucy it was never mentioned anywhere that your magic could destroy so much" Mira weak voice filled my ears.

Forcing myself to open my eyes I quickly sat up causing my head to throb more. Laying on beds beside mine was Mira, Natsu, and Wendy. Levy was holding onto Happy while tending to wounds. Mira and Natsu seemed to have the worse out of the three. Natsu was silently sleeping ignoring the world around him. His hands were clasped around the clock that triggered my episode.

"I...I... I'm sorry. It was never meant to happen. I don't know what happen" I stuttered while tears began to flow. Once again I managed to hurt the people around me without meaning it. "I really do deserve to be locked up in some hospital."

"Don't say that Lucy. Using medicine to subdue your powers isn't the answer" Levy serious voice caused me to look at her.

"She's right. Plus a power of that size can't be contained by a hospital. Maybe...maybe this is a good time to tell you. Seeing Natsu may have to take half of that power to keep it from happening again" Mira grunted while sitting up.

Gripping the bed sheets I looked down at the crisp sheets. Everyone just tells me it's okay even when they get hurt. I don't want to hurt people at all. Taking a deep breath I tried to calm my swirling head. Things were happening so fast that I haven't keep my emotions in check.

"Are you ready?" Mira asked with a soft smile.

Giving her a slight nod I pushed my hair out of my face before facing her once more. There was a huge cut on the side of her beatiful face. Bandages wrapped around her upper body and arms concealing the rest of the wounds from my eyes.

Tick.... Toc.... Tick..

My head snapped towards the clock in Natsu hands. He was sitting up now slightly rubbing his eyes.  To anyone else it would seem adorable,  but to me it was painful.  Natsu seemed to be worse then Mira.  His whole head was bandaged.  Blood was dried up on his skin that hasn't been washed off yet.

"I'm hungry" he yawned oblivious to the tense air surrounding us.

"Come Levy let's go make some food.  We must all be hungry" Mira chuckled.

"But" I began only for Mira to wave her hand.

"We'll discuss this later.  For now I want you to focus on resting.  Why don't you see if Natsu needs help cleaning up" she replied.

"Mhmmm where am I" Wendy voice softly filled the room.

My facial expression soften as the young girl sat up.  It seem she didn't receive any big injuries since a small bandage covered her cheek.

"No need to worry" I replied.

Sitting up I walked over and sat on the edge of Natsu bed.

"Lucy you okay?" He asked.

Am I okay?
