If I hadn't run after you
You would've been alive
And even if you don't forgive me
I'll be happy just by seeing you smile
If I hadn't pushed myself too much
You would've been okay
And I could've still had the chance to make things right
If only I learned to let go
Destiny could've intervened and
See to it that you felt my love
Even if we both walked away
I hope I learned the value of life more
Than anything that my emotions hold
If I had given you enough of time,
To think things through and go ahead,
You would've not chosen to drive
Towards that sorrowful road which led to death
If only I knew how to be patient
It would've not been over for the two of us
Our love story could re-ignite
The spark could've been a fire
The scars could've healed till
We were ready to make our choice
                              I could've just stood there
And see you just alright
Than to see you here lifeless, motionless soon to be gone from sight
So over and over again I would shout all these words that could've healed the pain that we both know.
If you were here, I could've, I would've chosen some more time with you.

Deepest Part of the Ocean
PoetryMy thoughts are unfiltered like an ocean; some words are unexplainable, and like life, my words come from somewhere. A journey, a lesson, a heartbreak, and everything in between.
