There's a pain that hurts,
A pain that strangles;
a pain that kills
A pain that's more like a knife.
There's also a pain that teaches– a pain that makes you grow
A pain that helps release– the heartaches you've once known
A pain that molds and the pain that makes you, you.
Two kinds of pain. Yes. Two kinds of pain that paints life with two different brushes;
Two types of pain that tells us it's up to us – whether we hate or we frown, or we learn the lesson and grow.
In the end, there's always pain. One you have to live with and one you have to let go.
