Connor's body almost slammed into the ground. Evan's hands where just trembling until he dropped the gun and he fell to his knees, crying as he looked at the bleeding man.

He quickly removed his own shirt and pressed it roughly into Connor's wound. The man groaned, even while barely conscious.

Evan couldn't believe he did this, he didn't think he would have shot anyone, he was just sick and tired of that place, being behind the walls, being trapped, and abandoned.

He looked down at the bloody man, and thought about leaving him.

If he did he would be able to escape and be home free. Leave. Never have to be trapped again....

After what seemed like a hour of dragging the man through the Forrest, Evan finally let it sink in that he was lost. Damn him for feeling so guilty about almost killing the man. But for all he knows he could be dead soon. His eyes red and sore from tears, and the shirt that was on Connor's wound, was now soaked through with blood. He was running out of time, and trying to not freak out.

But then his breath stopped when he heard tussling from the trees near a clearing.

He was terrified, and unfortunately he also had dropped the weapon back at the area where he had shot Connor, and left it when he tried carrying the man.

From the bushes a old, ragged man walked out. He had a long white beard, and tattered clothes. Something about him was unnerving, creepy and giddy. He was looking around the bushes, and then spotting Evan.

He smiled, and let out a weird cackle.

Evan stepped back slowly, but the man just kept walking closer. "Uhh, um hello. I, I didn't know people lived out here" Evan said, with a weariness in his tone.

The man tilted his head confused as to what he just said.

"Oh, you speak Russian"
Evan more stated then asked, then coughed slightly to clear his throat and began to speak in his native tongue.

"Why are you out here?" He questioned, still clutching Connor's limp arms.
"I'd ask you the same" the man replied, with a weak, old voice.

Evan laughed awkwardly. "Yeah um"

"Why is a young girl like you dragging around a wounded solider?"

Evan paused. Young girl?
He looked down at himself, he wasn't wearing anything but Alana's skirt. He blushed and hoisted up Connor a little more.

"Um... I." He stopped himself. He didn't have time for this, he needed to get back quickly.

"Do you know where the wall is?" The man grinned widely, spun on his heal and started walking into the trees without another word.

Evan didn't know what to think, but he had no choice but to follow.

After 30 minutes of walking, Evan could conclude the man was demented, he spoke about a deer that spoke to him, and ate berries with him.

He also kept asking if there was a whole village of shirtless women carrying around bleeding men, behind the wall.

But in the end the man did lead them to the wall. He said he threw rocks over it sometimes to see if he could get it to be thrown back, and that it hasn't happened yet.

But all these facts didn't matter at all to him.
Evan tried pulling Connor to the gate, but the man staring at him made it hard.

"Um... You may leave now." Evan said, trying to be polite. And the crazy old man, literally just ran off as soon as he said it.
