“Yes.” You embraced Mettaton after he placed the ring on your finger. “Of course I will marry you!”
“Thank you,” he replied and kissed you straight on the lips.
“That…was…the BEST PROPOSAL I’VE EVER SEEN!!” Frisk squealed, “…well, it's the first proposal I've ever seen.”
“oh, im glad i didnt screw it up………..” Napstablook sighed. “wait………i did mess up……i didnt scratch at the right part……oh no…”
“Blooky, you did amazing!” Mettaton shouted. “What did I tell you about thinking negatively?”
“um……you told me not to…” Napstablook smiled a little. “you really think i did amazing?”
“The music was perfect,” you contributed. “I was impressed.”
The little ghost blushed. “thank you……”
“Mettaton, this was absolutely spectacular,” you hugged your new fiancé lovingly. “I love you so much. Thank you for this.”
“Anything for you, my dear,” Mettaton hugged you back and stroked your hair. “I love you too.”
“So…now what?” You asked not leaving his embrace.
“Wanna just chill for a bit?” Mettaton raised an eyebrow. “I'm sure Alphys wouldn't mind if we used her lab to relax. Come on. Oh, Blooky, Frisk, you two coming along?”
“oh……um, if its ok to interfere with the two of you…we wouldnt want to be a burden……” Napstablook looked at Frisk.
“Nonsense, Blooky, you'd never be a burden,” Mettaton cheered.
The four of you started walking back to Alphys’ lab. When you got there, you noticed Alphys and Undyne were already there.
“Ah, hello Alphys, dear! Undyne,” Mettaton greeted.
“Mettaton? (Y/N)? Napstablook and Frisk? What are you, uh, doing down here?” Alphys asked.
“Metta’s just been showing me around,” you replied. “What're you two doing here?”
“Well, I'm w-working on a, uh, new project, and Undyne’s just here cuz she wants to be,” Alphys smiled.
“wow……that looks pretty cool,” Napstablook floated over to Alphys’ project.
“You like it?”
“yeah……are there, uh……pre-installed dj tables in there?”
“Sort of, heh. They, uh, come out when you think about them.”
“awesome………who's it for?”
“No one, really. I just…felt like making another body.”
“Huhu, I guess after you made tin man here, you wanted to make another one because you were bored,” Undyne laughed.
“can i………maybe, um……nevermind, forget i even said anything,” Napstablook sighed.
“No no, what is it?” Alphys asked curiously.
“um……” the ghost became quiet and shy. You could tell because he was turning more and more transparent.
“I think what Blooky is requesting is to become incorporeal with the new body you're making,” Mettaton interpreted for his cousin, who began to fade back into color.
“Oh, of course you can, but only after it's done, okay?” Alphys pat the ghost on the head gently before returning to her work.
Napstablook blushed a little and whispered, “……thanks.”
