We cried together, I couldn't tell if it was minutes or hours.

By time everyone was sober, dad was off to bed, Jacob was going over the bills to figure how much money the vet bills would cost. Me and the girls were in my room, Katie and Miranda were on bean-bags smelling my sharpies, clearly laughing. Kylee was sitting cross-legged on my bed and Bri was sitting behind me putting my hair in a ponytail for fun. "Anyone wanna go to the tack shop tomorrow?" They all said yes. Bri was done with my hair, I got up to check how my money I had. I had $670. I win money by competing in shows, Feather, Appi, and pumpkin were my main horses. Feather is a tri-color paint, Appi is a leopard Appaloosa, and we all know pumpkin the palomino. Pumpkin does dressage, and barrel racing. Feather does dressage, and jumping. And Appi is an all arounder. I have a show for Appi and Feather next Friday, Pumpkin is on break. Appi and pumpkin are my main two favorite horses. Feather would probably be around the third place marker, I love her perfectly smooth coat and how well she performs in shows, it's in her blood is what my mom would say. "We should go to the tack shop Leigh!" Miranda half whispered had yelled. Kylee was in on it too, she's 16 and can drive by herself as long as kyle is with us. I texted him, "Wanna go to the tack shop tomorrow?" He responded rather quickly. "Sure, what time? Does your dad even know?" I giggled slightly, Miranda and Katie still playing with sharpies. "Um, how about meet up at my house at 10:00, go to the tack shop then go to lunch together, sound good? And no he doesn't know and doesn't need to" I tossed my phone onto my bed gently, ignoring the buzz. "Alright guys, time to get some sleep," i stifled a yawn. We have to get up at 7 in order for Kylee to get ready." Everyone chuckled or laughed then they were in their normal sleeping formations. Kylee in the bed beside me and Miranda and Katie on the floor. I thought about me and Nexus showing in barrels and jumping. Finally the familiar darkness of sleep consumed me into a very peaceful sleep.
