chapter 13

Everyone is going to their hotel rooms to get ready to go swimming. I look up at the ribbons I got, I got 2 blue and one red on Appi and a trophy with a medal and I got 2 blue and a green for Feather.

Blue and green are reasonable colors to me, she also earned a trophy and two medals.

Jaylie, me and the girls had their swim suits on and are walking to the elevator with towls wrapped around us. Kyle and a couple other people I don't know are already down and swimming.

I set my towel down next to Brittany's and cannon ball in right next to Kyle.

He was standing in the shallow end. Big mistake buddy. I jump in his back, making him go under water.

"What was that for?!" He asks. "Becauseeeeee you needed to get used to the water." I say and splash him.

"You've done it now leigh!" Katie tells as she and Miranda cannonball beside us like I did to Kyle.

Jaylie is throwing a giggle fit as she jumps in and tells "chicken fight!" I motion for her to climb on my back and she does. Kyle gets Brittany in his back, and of course Katie and Miranda.

Jaylie, me, Katie and Miranda all join together to take down Brittany and Kyle then Jaylie and I end up winning.

"That's cheating Leigh!" Says Katie. "No it's not. No one said the person on the bottom couldn't play."

"Anyone wanna play sharks and minnows in the deep end?" I ask.

Kyle,Katie and Miranda start swimming to the deep end, Brittany stays by me and whispers "Ellie can't swim yet, can Jaylie?" I shake my head no. Kennedy offers to stay with them.  I nod and smile softly and start swimming to the deep end, Brittany following.

"Ellie Kennedy and Jaylie are staying in the shallow end. " I say when I get to where everyone is.

"So who's shark?" Asks Brittany. I laugh.

"The way we play, who ever asks is shark." I hear small laughs and giggles. Brittany huffs and swims to tge other side and counts to 10.

I swim to the very bottom and open my eyes. It's all blue. When I look up I see Brittany swimming towards Kyle.

I shoot upwards and splash her. She turns towards me and I dive down again. I laugh the best I can without loosing air.

I hear a shriek and shoot back up to see that Brittany got Katie by her ankle.

I float on my back with my hands on my stomach and my feet crossed like I've been like this for the entire time. "I'm bored. This game is to easy." They make small talk and they're agreeing.

"I got it!" Says Kyle. We turn our heads to him.  "Leigh you have a YouTube channel right?"

I nod. "Lets Let's make a video of us doing a dance! Like a pattern of jumping in and stunts!" Says Brittany. "Did anyone do cheer?"

"All of us did except Kyle, or did you?" I say raising an eyebrow amused. "Matter of fact, I played football. I've seen the crazy shiz y'all do." He says matter of factly.

"Good. Because you're gonna be one of the people to hold one of us up." I say trying to fight back laughter at his face.

Of course I don't succeed.

"Did Ellie do cheer Britt?" She nods her head yes. "Well she and Jaylie are going to learn how to swim today." I say.

We swim to the shallow end and get the girls. I smile evilly at Brittany. ' On 3' I mouth to her.

'2'
'3'! And we throw them in the deep in. They somehow manage to keep their heads above water and start swimming around laughing and giggling.

We are all sitting on the concrete holding my phone watching to the dance video we just finished.

We are lined up on the deep end with Katie, Miranda, Kennedy, me, Jaylie, Kyle, Brittany, and Ellie. Katie, Kennedy, Jaylie, and Brittany do a front flip into the water when the song turn down for what comes on. Then the rest of us do a back flip into the water while the ones that did a front flip are already at the shallow end and were swimming to them. Jaylie, Ellie, Brittany and I are fliars. Kyle holds me in a lib, Katie holds Ellie in a high V in the middle, Miranda holds Jaylie in a high V next to Katie and Ellie and Kennedy holds Brittany in a lib next Katie and Ellie.

Then when the song says 'turn down for what' the girls in the high V goes into and extension while we twist coming down.

Katie throws Ellie, and Miranda throws Jaylie up with a twist then they go under water and cone back up a few seconds later.

Kyle and Kennedy hold me up, Miranda and Brittany hold Ellie up, Katie helps Jaylie get on top of our triple pyramid and she looks as happy as can be.

Jaylie jumps into katies arms as me and Ellie toss her up then Kyle, miranda,Kennedy and Brittany cradle me and  Ellie at the exact same time right before the song goes off. And the video ends.

I hit post and of course, I usually post equine videos so I have about 2000 subscribers. So get about 5 likes each minute.

Eventually were all in our hotel rooms, Brittany and Ellie are staying the night.

Everyone's making small talk here and there, talking about what we won at the show. It turns out Ellie and Brittany has a little brother, Riley. He's 8 years old and does jumping on a solid arabian gelding.

Riley is tickling Jaylie, who is in a fit of giggles. I smile at them they would look so cute.

"Brit what are you and Ellie going to tell your dad about moving to our ranch?" I ask.

They shrug. "Maybe we can just ride our horses there when hes asleep." I nod.

"A walk for maybe thirty minutes won't hurt. But watch out for coyotes there bad this year."

They nod in usion before Jay jumps on the bed behind me laughing and then i hear a sharp shriek and turn my head to see Riley tickling her again.

"Everyone ready for bed?" I cant wait to ride tomorrow." Says Ellie. Our trail ride got canceled because of rain.

Me, Katie, and Jaylie are sharing a bed. Ellie, brittany, and Riley are sharing another bed and then we have the rest of us on the floor.

It was to quiet usually we could hear the horses running or neighing or something.

I turn on some music from my phone and the first song that comes on is Black by Dierk Bentley. Seems appropriate right about now.

I eventually drift into a dark, peaceful sleep.

So.... how have you guys been?? Whale i almost had a heart attack because i thought wattpad had deleted allllll my chapters here... and my stomach is hurting pretty bad so im just writing a chappie for today and playing minecraft and riding my horses on there.

And i actually planned for the story was after leighs mom was killed i was going to make her dad loose the ranch and have leigh run away and find nexus and train him and run away on him. Nexus is scared of water and it rains alot there, which makes it hard to get away without getting caught. And at the end her dad never looses the ranch and she gets to keep nexus.
