It always hurts.
That day she left... it burns.
That stupid child took her away from us... away from me.
They don't even care anymore. I don't even think they remember how wonderful it was when she was here!
My beautiful flower was the life of our family, the heart.
She was my everything.
The moment she gave birth to Violetta.... I lost her.

I woke suddenly to the sound of laughter and happiness.
How could anyone be happy on a day like this? I thought to myself.
I struggled out of bed and looked out the window. There were all of my daughters, cheering as Tema paraded around, Violetta perched on her shoulder. Smiling.
Thick, pure anger started coursing through my veins. I clenched my fists and grabbed my wife's sword from its place above my bed, slashing at the covers of my bed.
Everything after that was a blur. Suddenly I was standing right behind Violet, Blanc screaming at her to turn around.
As her head turned slowly, I swung the sword at her arm, the sharp silver cutting through it with ease.
"D-daddy... why?" She stammered and fell to the ground, scarlet soaking her. I started shaking... I lost grip of the sword and dropped it.
"FATHER HOW COULD YOU?!" Tema screamed, she had fell to the ground and was hugging Violet close to her chest. I stared at them, speechless at what I had just done.
I turned around and walked back into the house.
As I walked, I felt a cold hand settle itself on my shoulder.
"Even if I regret it, why should she be allowed happiness..." I felt a warm tear slide down my cheek, "when she took you away from me."
The hand lingered for a moment, then wiped the tear away, "She's just a child."
The warm voice rung in my ears, I glanced next to me and looked at her.
My beautiful Lilac.
