The car trip is quiet, not for long did Eugene begin to ask questions about my business here in Chicago; causing me to be slightly irritable, not to mention that my mind is on the news he brought up about my apartment being broken into, and yet there's nothing valuable missing.

"Cassia, please tell me what's going on?I'm really worried about you."

"Can't we talk about this later?" I release a sigh before making the suggestion and Eugene still goes on. "I have to know! No excuse is getting you out of this now."

I mumble a curse under my breathe, turning my attention away from him to the blurred figures of frenetic people walking along the sidewalk to wherever their destination might be, regardless of the restricted visibility the globule suspended on the window surface creates; it takes me back to my childhood days where I'd would have ran my finger on the foggy window, creating images.

Surely today's weather isn't in our favour.

Eugene didn't make a reaction to the curse I made earlier, which to my perspective says that he didn't hear me; so I find myself additionally stating. "I'm not in the mood right now."

"If you're not in the mood now, then when are you going to be?"

"Don't fucking annoy me! Don't stick your nose into places where it doesn't belong." I bark at him along with a death glare. Once he deactivates the car into the residential parking lot of my apartment, he surrenders himself into his thoughts, before coming back at me; gazing into my eyes. "What's our relationship based on?" No word leaks from my mouth, and his cyan irises continues to puncture into my brown ones.

"Isn't it trust?Teamwork?" He chimes on. "Clearly this relationship is beginning to lack those." I let myself out of the car; clearly provoked by anger, concealing my bare hands into the pockets of my coat to prevent the effect of the frigid atmospheric conditions that will have on them. Not long until I realise that Eugene is trailing me, followed by the calling of my name and my feet begins to quicken my walking pace, eventually I am running away from him.

Eugene manages to catch up with me, grasping a hand onto my arm and I spasmodically try to free myself from his grip, becoming a violent effort not to be physically restrained, still he latches onto my other arm; pinning me against a nearby pillar and he loosen his grapple. Eugene places his hands on each side of my cheek.

"Hey, I haven't seen you act this way before."

"That's what coming back to the hood does to you, it messes you up. And that sweet girl you feel in love with - is nothing but fake..." He abruptly collides his lips onto mine; halting my utterance and I surrender to his actions; granting him the access to glide his tongue into my mouth leading to a belligerent soggy kiss with both of our participation.

The short make-out section didn't make me feel any better, only worse than before, trying my best not to reveal it to him.His eyes returns to piercing into mine and they reveal nothing but affliction, it is briefly silent between us, our apparent respiring of vapoury clouds that escape from our breath manages to combine and the rawness of the air begins it's progress of attacking my body.

"Listen, I know you are upset, and you don't mean what you're saying. Just tell me what going on?" I bite onto my bottom lip; not ready to procure on what has been bothering me lately, if I don't utter anything, he will surely get it out of me sooner or later, rather let be now. "There's alot of messed up things I need to clean up."

"What messed up things?" He inquires, his eyes narrow in concern. "Are you involved with the wrong crowd?"

"Yes - no, sort of."

"What did you do?" I pick up his tone is slightly angered this time and I find myself walking away from his gaze before coming back with a reply. "It's not my fucking fault! It's my stupid brother."
