Aaron keeps on checking his wrist watch every now and then, his left fingers which rests onto the table, begins to tap it -- restlessly and endlessly.

Only until perceiving with his nostrils, the familiar fragrance of lavender and from that moment he knows that Valerie finally showed-up.

Valerie sits across him and not uttering a single word, that it is in Aaron's hands to start a conversation. "Hello, Honey."

The lady crosses her arms, frowning her lips momentarily to an extent just before making a response "What is this all about?"

The middle-aged man is slightly dumbfound "To spend the evening with my lovely wife, of course."
"We might as well."
Valerie seems to lossen up a bit.
"Because this is surely our last."
Aaron lifts his head at her last statement, becoming a little anxious. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"I want to file for divorce."

Aaron freezes, his mind processing Valerie's words making it crystal clear that he heard her just right.

"Who is he?"

"What are you talking about?"

The waiter approaches with the wine Aaron ordered and presents it to him, and so the ex-detective reads the label to clarify and responds with a nod.

The waiter resumes by pouring Aaron a simple, he breathes in the aroma, before taking a sip and makes another nod. The waitron walks to Valerie's side and fills her glass first, coming back to Aaron and doing the same. Finally the waiter places the bottle in the centre of the table and goes back to his other duties.

The couple resumes

"You know exactly what I am talking about."
Aaron is on the verge of losing his temper.
Valerie makes a slight pout, taking a sip from the wine glass.

"No, I don't."

Aaron pulls up a sarcastic grin.

"Of course, the five years I've been gone would have given you the opportunity to be whoring around all over the place."

Valerie makes a slight frown. "That's the thing about you, you're so delusional."

"But,isn't that the truth?"

Valerie exhales a sigh "No, that's not it."

"Then what is?!" Aaron slightly rises his voice

"You need to calm down, we're in a public space, we don't need this right now."

"Well you better start talking before this gets ugly."

"Look, we are high school sweethearts, we had Vanessa, who brought us closer...what I am saying is that, I have literally spent my whole life with you..."

"So, I am guessing that it is a midlife crisis, then? I am not buying it."
The woman remain lip-tight "Think about our children, what would they think?"

"They are old enough to understand..."

"And that's the thing about you, you're selfish, you care only about yourself."

With that, Aaron rises from the table and swiftly left the restaurant, feeling frustration overwhelm him.

Jazmine lounges onto her sofa, burying herself into words written in the psychological book, titled "Abnormal Psychology in Changing Environments.", while taking a sip of still Rosè from her wine glass every now and then.

She finally realises that the cloud of loneliness is hanging over her since Eugene made his departure back to Dubai, although her hobby of reading distracts her from thought of being alone.

Suddenly knocking perceived from the door pulls her out from her comfort zone. Before getting up, the African-America exhales a groan of annoyance as she advances to answer the door.

As soon as the door opens, Jazmine is struck with astonishment to see that it was none other than Aaron. Embarrassment overwhelms Jazmine realising her inappropriate attire; consisting of underclothes and an unbuttoned shirt that's too big for her petit body. Instincts takes control of her and she swiftly wraps the shirt around her exposed skin, holding the fabric in place while letting the ex-detective inside her apartment.
"Um, Aaron...I wasn't expecting you. Is something the matter?"

Aaron remains silent, expressionless, and motionless in the middle of Jazmine's kitchen. The young lady finds his behaviour slightly off.

"Um, well...I'm gonna change into some comfortable."

As Jazmine walks passed Aaron, she feels a tough hand latch onto her arm, redirecting her to Aaron's direction, allowing both bodies to collide into one another, the alarmed young lady wasn't given a chance to react as Aaron crashes his heated lips into Jazmine, without any second thought Jazmine participates in his actions, permitting him entrance to explore her mouth; his thick tongue gliding and mingling with Jazmine's.
Young woman's arms making their way around Aaron's neck in an embrace, his left hand grasp a handful of her hair to hold her head firm, while his right hand that once clutched her arm, leisurely trails his cold fingers along her bare waist; moving along to hold her back the sensation earns Aaron a moan from Jazmine.

Aaron begins to walk, so does Jazmine, only to be stopped by the kitchen counter, giving the opportunity to take a breather.

They both lose contact, as the air becomes filled with gasps of heavy breathing, Jazmine remains in-between the counter and Aaron, he places his hands on the counter; technically trapping her.

After what seems like a minute, Jazmine sees the chance to ask Aaron about what bothering him, as he seems out of character.
"Aaron..."
Her words are cut off, by Aaron once again attacking her lips, their tongues roll between one another, the kiss is wild and sloppy.

Aaron's strong arms lift Jazmine onto the counter, her legs opened wide on either side of him. He proceeds as he pulls back her hair and attacks her neck greedily with nibbles and nips; leaving his evidence with hickeys.

Jazmine's blood begins to boil, giving into the pleasure her body receives. As he begins to stripes her.
