~Two weeks later~
Jazmine enters the same illegal underground club, which she was escorted to by Kevin's thugs a few weeks back.
She becomes exposed to the familiar unpleasant air of sweat, marijuana and weed, breathing in the toxins; making her chest tighten, expelling air from the lungs with a sudden sharp sound, every now and then. Jazmine makes her way towards the bartender, and takes a seat.
The bartender asks her what type of drink she'd be having tonight.
"Gimme some shots, make it three for now ."
The bartender places three, twenty-five millilitre glasses in front of her, filling each of them with a powerful spirit. Jazmine gulps each of them in one go. A familiar face takes a seat right next to her, wrapping a arm behind her neck. "My little hoe, hope your ass brought me good news."
"There's some progress." she replies in feeble voice, feeling slightly drowsy as if the smoke coming from the marijuana joint, Kevin has being puffing could get her high. Kevin takes notice of empty glasses,
"Eh yo, give my girl here something to drink...make it extra special." he pronounces the last statement along with a wink aim at the bartender, he nods in comprehension to confirm Kevin's code.
"I'm listening."
"Uh...right now, Aaron wants to confirm if the body in Drew's grave is really his."
"My homie, faked his own death?"
"I always believed that...once it's confirmed that he ain't dead, we'll track him down, and maybe even Vanessa and you'll get the cash."
"It's taking forever..."
"Give us at least a month."
The bartender serves Jazmine her drink, which is a Moscow Mule; she first stirs the cocktail combining the different layers into one solution followed by placing the glass in-between her lips, allowing the foreign liquor to flow into her mouth, flooding her taste buds. The heat of spicy liquid set her mouth and throat on fire, making her flinch her facial features.
"Now that's some powerful liquor."
Kevin makes an inquiry that makes Jazmine almost choke on her drink.
"How's about you become a hooker?"
"Excuse me?"
"I've got some hoes that are making me money, and you is perfect for the job."
"Nah, nah, nah, that ain't the life for me."
Jazmine starts to feel lightheadedness kick in, sensation of feeling sick to her stomach. "Um...excuse me."
She strolls to seek for the ladies room in a swift manner.***
The intoxicated young lady is on her knees, regurgitating into the toilet bowl, coughing everything out,she stays there until the sensation of feeling nauseous is at bay.
Jazmine makes her way to one of the basins, in a wobbly posture. She turns on the tap, hollowing her hand to captivate some of the liquid and directs it to her mouth, soaking clean her mouth of the bitter taste left in by the aftereffects of regurgitation.
The restroom door opens and Kevin makes an entrance.
Meanwhile in the club, Aaron is wondering through the restless sweaty bodies. "She should be around here." He takes a look at his mobile phone once again and observes to where the tracker leads him.
