I woke up the next day, ready to go to school. I wasn't one of those girls who hated school, and everything about it, but I didn't love it either. I liked that I got to spend time with my best friends and that I got to learn new stuff. But I didn't spend all my time learning, even though I had really good grades, I didn't really try. Also, I wasn't really popular either. I had my friends, and I didn't have enemies, I got along with everyone, so I'm happy. And my best friends make everything better.

After what felt like half an hour, I got out of bed, and I was ready to go to the bathroom, to take a shower and prepare for school, when I noticed something that shocked me.

Outside my window, there was snow everywhere. My first thought was "This must be a dream", because I remembered my wish. It couldn't be. It was impossible. So I did the first thing that came into my mind. I called Dylan. The phone rang three times, and then Dylan answered.

     "Dylan!" I yelled.

"Good morning to you too, Ember!" he answered, and I could tell by his voice that he was smiling.

"Yeah, whatever. Just, look outside!" I screamed, wanting to hear his opinion.

"Okay, am I supposed to see you standing outside with a bouquet or something? Because all I see is snow..."

     I laughed at his expectations.

"Oh, I get it! It snowed! Oh, I knew you love snow, but I never thought you'd get so excited." he stated.

"It's not just the fact that it snowed. It's the fact that yesterday, the sky was blue, and now, it looks like the North Pole."

"It's almost... Magic..." he finished the sentence in a whisper.

     "Magic..." I whispered.

"Magic... Ember, what did you wish for yesterday?" he questioned.

"I may have wished for snow. Maybe..." I mumbled.

"Ember, get ready for school ready, I'm coming there!" Dylan said as fast as he could, and before I could say anything else, he hang up on me. Such a great friend.

But that didn't mean I didn't get ready. In 15 minutes, I was already dressed, all I had to do was to get my bag ready. I threw in my books, and I was ready to go downstairs, when my door opened, revealing a barely-breathing Dylan.

"Please tell me you didn't run all the way here. In the cold." I said.

"Of.. of.. of course not. I just.. My mother brought me here by car, and I ran from the car here, and yeah. I'm okay." he assured me.

"Okay..." I replied, unsure about why he was getting so worked up about a simple wish.

"So, tell me exactly what you wished before you fell asleep." Dylan requested.

"I wish tomorrow would snow." I replied, pretty sure about what I wished.

"And now, it's tomorrow, and it did."

     "Obviously."

"Okay. It's weird. It's really weird. How... I don't say I don't believe in magic, but this is the weirdest thing I've ever seen or heard."

"I know, Dy... What am I supposed to do?"

"What do you think? Just keep on giving statues and making wishes. It will help some people, maybe." he suggested.
