🌜Hello again readers! I'm so sorry I didn't write and update yesterday, I tried I really did but I was having problems. I had this horrible migraine, I couldn't be around any light without getting sick from the extreme pain. I'm feeling better today, so here I am writing. Hope you all enjoy! Song to the side I think is a shining example of Kin's feelings towards Skyler.🌛
•••••••••••••••••••••••• SKYLER'S POV ••••••••••••••••••••••••••
~The large group of shifters and vampires slowly approach the three men in the clearing, the vampire snarls in warning while stepping in front of the slightly smaller blonde werewolf, he swore his allegiance to one so in his mind he must protect them both, the were panther can feel the shift coming on an is trying hard to fight his inner cat, while the werewolf is offended the vampire doesn't think he can take care of himself.
A large wolf steps into the the front of the group of rouges, and looks over the three men before him, "which one of you three is the leader? he asks with his voice booming throughout the woods, causing a large group of crowd to startle and fly away in a flurry of wings and cawing. Before the vampire can stop him, the blonde wolf steps in front of him, sticking his chest out slightly to show the large wolf he didn't fear him, and proudly said,"I am the leader here. What do you want."
The large wolf looked him up and down before grinning madly. "Your hardly more than a pup, there isn't a chance you are the leader I seek. Step back little pup before you hurt yourself." The shifters an vampires around the small group laugh at what their leader has said, but stop when they see the flash of anger cross the werewolf's eyes and by the words he spoke,"there is only one way to prove my strength rouge, I challenge you. I will prove to you I am the leader here."
The large wolf smiles a wicked smile, for he thinks he has this fight already won, and believes once he's done here he can go on and find the leader he and his group seek. "Alrigh little wolf, I accept. No outside interference is allowed, and this is to submission, not to the death. I would hate to have your life on my hands."
The smaller wolf laughs before agreeing to the terms. At the protests of the vampire he waves his hand and assures him that he will be fine, after all he won't be loosing.
Both wolves step apart and strip of their clothing as the two separate groups around them part to give the fighters room. The smaller wolf is a beautiful slate grey, while the larger one is a reddish brown. As they circle one another, the differences in their sizes are plain to see. The grey one is much smaller with fewer muscles, but he moved with a natural grace that lager wolf didn't posses. The large red wolf was well defined and had the scared hide of a born fighter, but moved like a programmed robot.
Each fighter circled the other several times, looking for a weakness in the other. Without warning the red wolf lunged forward, going for the easy submission from his adversary. The smaller wolf, knowing just what the other planned by his body movements alone, brought his body down to the ground and allowing the other wolf to sail right over him. While the larger wolf was still off balance from his missed attack, the small wolf spun around and leapt on the others back. Before the other could react, the small wolf latched on to his neck and brought him down to his belly, showing all there that he had forced the submission.
When it was clear to all what had happened, the smaller wolf cane back up to his feet and stepped away from the large red wolf still on his belly. Standing and shaking the loose dirt and leaves from his shining coat, the red wolf looks around at the faces of his group, before approaching the small wolf once more. Once directly in front of him again, he bows lowly to show his acceptance of his leadership, before going back to his cloths, shifting and dressing once more.
"My name is Vexus, and I have lead this bunch across the territories in search of you." ~
Jerking up from the ground where I have fallen, I see Kin kneeling beside me with a worried expression on his face. "Relax, it was just a vision. We are about to have company." Once the words left my lips he was on his feet in a protective stance, as Thorne took up a stance on the other side of me. Looking at them so focused and protective of me I can't help but start to laugh.
When Kin hears my laughter he looks at me perplexed, before he can ask any questions I say,"relax they aren't here to harm us. I think they are here to join us." After the words left my mouth, I heard Severin speak through our bond, informing me that there was someone who wanted to see me. From the way Kin bristled up I could tell Severin had told both of us.
After standing back up to my feet, I look down at myself and notice I have dirt, leaves and other unknown matter all over my clothing from my fall when the vision hit me. I bring my hands up and brush myself off the best that I can. When I'm finished, since I have done the best I can, I look up just as Severin, Spyke and Koa enter the clearing by the house. Severin turns back to Koa, says something that causes Koa to nod before walking back the way that they came from this time in panther form.
Looking at them again I notice the man standing behind Severin at last. He's as tall as him, but laden with more muscles. His hair is a dark golden blonde, and from what I can see his eyes are hazel with a dusting of green. From the way he is dressed in name brand and up to dare style I would say he is a man of means. He is also the wolf I saw my brother fight in my vision.
I take the chance to approach him, once in front of him I look up at his face, and watch the shock fly across it. "This is him? Your leader? Hot damn, and here I thought you looked like a pup!" His booming laughter fills the clearing and I find myself smiling up at him as his amusement colors his aura a deep purple.
"Well Vexus, ever heard the expression never judge a book by its cover?" The shock is plain to see on his face when I spoke his name without him telling me what it was. Shortly after he relaxes as he thinks he has it all figured out. Spyke begins to laugh beside him, causing him to turn his head and look at him. "He thinks I told you his name. He doesn't know you can't communicate like a normal wolf."
As the wordsleft Spyke mouth Vexus looks back at me, the question plainly written on his face. "He's right I can't mind speak like other wolves, and no I don't know why but I never could. I knew your name because of the vision I had before you stepped into the clearing. I saw your confrontation with my brother."
Vexus shook his head lightly, as if shaking the thoughts away before speaking again,"if that's the truth, then tell me what does my wolf look like?" The smirk was plain to see in his face,"your wolf reddish brown, and riddled with scars. Need more proof? Your chest in human form, which no one saw since you faced away from then when you shifted, bares two tattoos, the one on your left is the grim reaper, the one on the right is an intricate design but it is the crest of your bloodline and your fallen pack."
"How, how did you know all of that?" Vexus questioned. "Between my visions of you and your aura I know enough I assure you. Now I question of you, is that enough to convince you that I am who I claim?" Stepping back a step, he nods his head. "Good, now that that is settled, could you tell your men to step down?"
Vexus's head moved so fast at my word that I fear he got whiplash. "Yes I have known about them the moment they stepped into place, there," I say pointing to each hidden man in turn,"a wolf, a vampire, another wolf, a warlock, and finally there, in his form is a hawk. I can see their auras shinning brightly giving each man away as being much than an animal. Go ahead and call all of your men here. There is much to talk about, and we can start with how you knew about me and where I was."
