I have searched for him for over a thousand years, and nothing could have prepared me for what he is. He is nothing short of perfection.

Here I stand, like a creeper, as I watch him interact with Vexus and his men, listening to the story of how they found us and knew of him. The story that has been passed down for generations among their bloodlines, the signs of the saviors arrival are also what lead them practically to our door step.

"You followed our trail of destruction straight to us?" Severin demanded. "Yes." Vexus replied like it was the most natural thing in the world to be staring straight into the very face of the vampire lord who destroyed half of his own race. The face that has slain more supernaturals and humans alike than any other creature to have walked this earth. My brother and I are the slayers of mortal and immortal alike, cruentus angelus, meaning blood thirty angels. We were the the judgment sent by the council. That was so many centuries ago, it was this job that lead us to Rayven the day we saved his life, and insured the survival of the twins ancestor.

Nero has called us into his camber once more. If truth be told I'm growing weary of all this, of being the puppet to this monster puppeteer. For well over four hundred years my brother, Severin, and I have done his and the councils bidding, on the promise that son we would take our fathers rightful place, as he's if this council and as the lords to his lands.

"What do you think that brainless ingrate has for us to ought little brother?" Severin voice echoed throughout the long dark and damp hallways of the councils castle. The castle that one day shall be ours once more. "I'm sure it is just as idiotic as the last one. He could have taken that pack of rouges out on his own , if he dared to leave the council chambers anymore. He has grown lazy in his age." "No brother not lazy, he simply does not know what the world has become in the four hundred years he has sat on upon the thrown that rightfully belongs to us. The tears he has ruled our people with an iron fist, the years he has sent is to destroy our own kind, to destroy humans that h believes are a threat to his way of life. It's purely foolish to meddle on the affairs of humans, their lives are meaningless."

It isn't often that I can honesty say I agree with my brother, but on this I can. Upon arriving at the door of the chamber, my brother an I had come to the decision that soon the council would fall and the true leaders would rise once more.

"How long does it take two immortals to find their way to the council chambers?" Nero snapped out. One look at Severin and I knew he was about to step over that line, and knew I had to prevent it, now was not the time. Bowing low to Nero I quickly change the subject,"Lord Nero, if it pleases the council I wish to inquire on behalf of my brother and I, exactly what it is that the council needs cruentus angelus for at this time."

"Now that, my boy, is the true purpose of this moment. There is a group of wolves whom have taken it upon themselves to take gypsies as their slaves. I have no care for the gypsies themselves, but there is one I need. I wish for you to procure this gypsy boy for me, and kill all in your way." There could be only one reason for Nero to care about the life of a single person so greatly, and it is that they must posses an ability that would better his quest for power, something we could not allow. There was only one thing to be done, this gypsy boy must die with all the rest, Nero could never add him to his collection.
