After the maids finished with her makeup, she was led towards the tea room where the rest of her relatives were drinking tea.
"Uncle, it's Mizuki," stated Mizuki quietly. She was kneeling outside of the room waiting for a reply.
When none was given, she opened the door and silently came in.
"Your husband will be coming tonight. Don't forget what you practised. Wear the mask until he finishes the job or he'll change his mind. No one wants a blind wife," said her uncle.
"Yes, I understand."
"Good. You may leave."
With a silent sigh, she bowed and turned around to leave. Just as Mizuki was about to leave, her uncle said "If you mess this up, you will be severely punished."
Mizuki turned around, bowed slightly in the direction of the voice and left.
'I must be really stupid if I think that someone will save me. The only person that I can rely on is me.'
