Since there was nothing left to do except wait, Mizuki decided to take a walk around the house. Considering that they were the richest people in the town, their land gave Mizuki plenty of space to walk.

As she started walking down her memorised route, she concentrated on everything around her. The sounds, sensations, everything. As she was slowly losing herself into her surroundings, she heard a snap.

"Who's there?" questioned Mizuki as her head snapped in the direction of the broken twig.

No reply was given but she could faintly hear footsteps moving around her as they stepped on the grass and some dried leaves.

After a few seconds of moving her head in the direction of the faint sounds from the unknown person, her patience grew thin.

"Don't you get tired of this?" sighed Mizuki.

After a moment of hesitation, the person spoke. "Don't think I ever will," stated a voice. "It never ceases to amaze me that you can recognise me."

"That's because the only person stupid enough to keep on doing this after all these years is you."

"Excuse me?! Is that really how you treat your friends?!" cried out the voice.

"Only the ones stupid enough to forget that I'm blind and not deaf," countered Mizuki.

Before the other person could argue, she continued, "
Actually, everyone forgets that fact but I expected more from you Jun."
