The room was silent as Mizuki's words went through the ears of Jun and Kenji. As they comprehended the situation, Jun's eyes widened.
"Wait...... what are you talking about?" asked Jun with urgency in his voice. He turned Mizuki so that her body faced his, held her by her shoulders and started to shake her. "Mizuki!"
Mizuki said nothing as she was shaken. In fact, she almost looked bored which irritated Kenji.
"I have a hard time trying to speak when someone is shaking me, what about you?" asked Mizuki rhetorically.
"Ah- sorry," said Jun sheepishly while releasing the girl.
The girl showed no resentment but instead had a smirk on her face.
"Before I answer anything, who is that?" questioned Mizuki while turning her head into a random direction. As the heads turned to look, they realised that there was a man there, watching them with a hard expression. His face went impossibly harder when they looked at him.
"How did you know?" inquired the man, his deep voice booming in the room.
"Now, now, I can't reveal all my secrets to you now, can I?" replied Mizuki, the smirk still on her face.
"Mizuki, please," interrupted Jun which made the girl sigh. She didn't want to hear Jun beg.
"When I was walking through the garden, before running into you, I heard voices whispering about something that was very interesting. Being blind can be an advantage you know?" interrupted the girl inbetween her explanation, " no one suspects you eavesdropping in on their conversations."
With that, the men understood what she was implying. However, the mystery man wasn't completely happy with her explanation.
"That doesn't explain how you knew I was here," stated the man.
Mizuki turned her head to face him again. "Let's just say, I've got better hearing than most," and with that she slowly stood up.
Jun was amazed that she could sense the other man with only her hearing to the point that he was still on the floor and staring at her in bewilderment. The unknown man was sceptical and Kenji was silent.
As Mizuki turned around to face Jun, footsteps were heard suddenly and she felt herself losing consciousness. 'Crap...... That bastard,' she thought as her legs gave way.
Before anyone could react, Mizuki was unconscious and in the arms of Kenji.
"What the hell was that?!" yelled Jun.
Before he could get up, Kenji had already placed Mizuki on his shoulders like a sack of potatoes. The mystery man looked on in amusement.
Kenji gave Jun a hard look. "Shut up, we're behind schedule."
